1.
How does it differ from a P-bass that you despise all aspects of?

Hush up, you, he's clearly a man of exquisite taste Although in seriousness, it's a slightly downsized body to the Fender standard, perhaps that's what's ticking the boxes
Haha! Honestly I don't know, im a lover of rays and jazz's and I've always looked at p's and thought they were so boring and bland, and this one has totally changed my opinion, it's just....... Different, must add that my opinion has been completely based on the appearance as I've never played a p! And this one has persuaded me to give it a try! Nice one doctor j I've got early onset GAS, me and my wallet could possibly hate you in the coming weeks
 2.
I like sunbursts but have only one, this Bacchus Woodline P
I despise p basses in every aspect, however there is something about this, its really really nice
 3. I dislke children, If it was me, the first time would have gone something like this Him: 'lads I'm bringing little johnny and charlo....' Me: 'I'm out, give me my gear'
 4.
You could also take a look at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te44eWXd9pc An excellent mini series of demos.
Thanks Greg
 5.
Looks like a good guide actually. One thing though, i've always wondered how the hell one pronouces the name 'Jerzy Drozd'?
JD is much easier
 6.
My new rig as of yesterday!
If carlsberg did photography..
 7. No problemo its certainly helping me as we speak!
 8. Hi all, Just stumbled apon this, You've probably all seen it or think its a load of crap, but for someone like me who's extremely inexperienced, could be a good read! http://www.jerzydrozdbasses.com/akcndfr54jdhrei567/Ultimate_Guide_ver100.pdf Jack
 9.
How would a simple man like me (let's assume I'm an idiot and you won't be far wrong) know whether fretwork needs sorting, without taking it to a professional first? I'm not asking to be able to fix it myself, just get an idea if it might need fiddling with.
This!
 10. Oh ok! Ill give the guy a call and see what he says :s hopefully all will be well! Thanks for your help
 11. It's a brand new bass, so fretworks fine, it's just literally truss rod and bridge, new strings and new pickups! Seems to be a guy in harrow on that list! Which is a stones throw from me
 12. Hi all, How much should I be looking to pay for a set up and new pick ups fitted? Also anyone know any decent ones in the Watford area? Jack
 13. Reminds me of story, my bass tutor went to New York, while he was there he saw a Gibson (l5 I think) and ended up buying it, about $15000 I recall him saying, spent 2 hours arguing with them to either let him insure the guitar or let him put it in a stowaway on board, in the end they agreed for him to bring it on board! It got home safe and sound
 14.
Sounds like a Deluxe. 4 knobs, Vol, Pan, Treble/Bass stack and Mid.
Sounds about right! God knows, I'm new to this luxurious world of high end basses, technically I haven't even entered it yet
