Cambridgeshire band 'Derecho' need a new bass player. The band gigs regularly and have gigs booked with more coming in every week. 2nd album just completed, 3rd will commence recording towards the end of the year. Age irrelevant. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, skilled, intuitive player, sense of humour, own gear, transport etc. 2 hours of original material to be learned ASAP! This isn't a 'hobby' band so if it's 'something for the weekend' you're after, we're probably 'not the droids you're looking for'. Evenin' folks, 1st timer here. So, I want to play bass, what to get first? 1 - Bass guitar 2 - Bass amp 3 - Chunky knit sweater 4 - Clay pipe 5 - Trousers with an elastic waistband 6 - A drummer with a car All advice gratefully received.
