1. For sale is my Aguilar GS212, 8 ohm, 600 watts RMS bass cab. I have not used this for some time as I have invested in two light weight Neodymium speaker cabs. This USA made cab delivers an awesome sound using two twelve inch speakers and an adjustable tweeter. The cabinet is in good condition and the carpet covering has no fluffy bits. The castors are not damaged. There are some minor scuffs on the plastic corners. The grill is unmarked. It comes with a heavy duty cover made from marine material, which cost about £80 when I had this made. This is included in the sale. Collection only unless you would like to send a courier. I am frequently travelling from Salisbury to Birmingham and sometimes to the Sheffield area so if you live on route I can deliver at no additional charge. These cabinets retail for about £1,100 new so £390 including the cover is a fair price. I am open to reasonable offers.
2. I cannot believe this cab has not been snapped up yet. It has to be the bargain of the year. Have a bump on me. BUMP

4. I had a Peavey 4 x 10 many years ago and thought it was a great cab. For £115 this is an absolute bargain.
5. Lovely cab. Is there a cover with it and what is the impedance?
6. Hello For sale is my Trace Elliot Hexavalve 380 watt valve amp. This amp was made in 1992 (serial no 0009) and I have had it since 1996. It comes with an 4u SKB case, the original EQ foot switch and documentation with a circuit diagram. These amps were only produced in fairly low quantities and the Hexa is the most powerful in the family, its smaller brothers being the Quatra and the Twin. This amp has had a gentle life with a just couple of gigs a month and in the last 5 years or so I hardly used it as the type of gigs I do these days do not need the one stage volume. I have always handled it as if it was a baby and kept it indoors. Inside the amps has a fan to cool the valves and the air is drawn in from the slots in the bottom. As you will see from the images I have lifted the lid with some spacers and this is simply to allow the air to flow more easily. If you wish you can just lower the lid again in its original position. At the rear are two parallel speaker sockets. I will provide the XLR speaker lead with the amp as well as the mains lead. The six 6550 power tubes give an amazing clear and warm tone, whilst the GP12 graphic allows you to trim to the sound very accurately. The amp can also accept KT88 power tubes. All the valves are in good condition and should not need to be replaced. The amp has no buzz or background noise. The valve input stage is driven by two ECC 83's tubes and is much more flexible than transistors. This amp delivers 380 watt RMS and always manages to produce a quality sound at any level. When you push it, the sound gets fatter as is typical of valve amplification. I have never ran the master volume above 5. The impedance is switchable between 2 and 4 ohms and it will deliver the full output power at these two settings. The weight of the amp is substantial so if you are interested it would be best to collect it. I live in Salisbury, Wiltshire. For my work I often travel to the Birmingham area so if you live en route (Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands or South Staffordshire) I would be happy to deliver it. No trades please. Thank you for looking.
7. I have owned a Hexa valve head since 1996 and have been very pleased with its performance. The sound it produces is clean and warm and is suited to all kind of styles including slap. At high volumes it remains fairly clean but gets fatter and less distinctive so fine for rock but not if you are looking for tight sound. It sounds similar to an Ampeg SVT 2 Pro but with more of an Hifi element. It will not distort easily so if you want a grungy tone, you have to use some sort of effects pedal with it. The amp has been very reliable and I have never had any major problems. It is a quality built amp built inside as well as outside in a time when Trace Elliot did not cut corners. Mine is fitted with 6550 valves, which I believe sound somewhat cleaner than the KT88 that it can also accept. There are 2 speaker outputs, one is a regular jack and the other is an XLR and it produces 380 watts into 2 or 4 ohm. I recommend this amp but it all depends what you are looking for so you should have a good listen before you commit to buying it. I hope this helps.
8. I recently bought an Aguilar GS212 and I am very impressed with it. The GS112 should be every bit as excellent so good luck with the sale.

11. Also consider Laney. They are good value for money second hand.
I have spare 15 and 12" PA speakers lying about. 200watt each Alto Elvis. What are you opinions about using them as a bass cabs? Cheers.
I have used 2 x 12" Peavey PA cabs with a horn for rehearsals. I had to wind up the bass to get the bottom and roll off the high. It was much better than I thought. Kind of OK, but not fantastic. You would get away with it if you did not have anything else.
