1. +1 for the DR black beauties! I've got them on my Corvette $$ 5er, and my Highway One Jazz. Brilliant! I get them from elderly instruments in the US. $29.35 for the four string, or two packs for $52.70 $37.75 for the five string, or two packs for $68.50 $10 for postage, and they arrive within a week. Bargain!

4.
Those are pretty nice basses apart from the lack of strings
Three basses, twelve strings. Seems about right to me. Am I wrong? Andy

9. Beautiful. I wish I was half as talented. Fantastic job so far. Andy
10. Comfort Strapp and Dunlop strap locks. The only way forward! Andy
11. At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Norman Watt Roy is a genius! Andy
12. I have one. It is by no means a Fender beater, but if you're looking for a budget instrument to practice on, it's great. I stuck on a new set of strings, and re-shielded the innards. I wouldn't gig it, but it's good for mucking about in the house on. Andy
13.
Sorry, but I do have to say I have had a LOT of trouble with the Warwick strap locks on my old Corvette. If it wasn't the screw being quite short and resulting in the whole lock coming out of the bass, it would be the actual locking mechanism wouldn't be 100%. I might have just got a dud though. I use Dunlop Straploks on all my basses after being very impressed with the recessed ones on my Thumb. I use the Dual Design on my others, which you can either uses strap locks or just a strap by itself. Insurance in case I should lose my strap and need to borrow another.
I really don't trust the Warwick straplocks. Twice the catch failed, almost resulting in my corvette bouncing off the stage. I have since replaced them with Dunlop ones, and am more than happy. Pain in the nuts to put on though! Andy
14. I've bought quite a lot of stuff from a guy called n.aalox on ebay. It comes from America, but it's always got here pretty quickly, and I've never been done for import duty!
