  9. Has anyone else noticed how on the American Deluxe Jazz Basses the 'pan pot' is actually a 3 way selector switch? Currently I can choose between 100% Neck, 100% Bridge or both... No middle ground. Ideally I'd like to have two volumes like the Standard but keep the active/passive capabilities of the current pre amp. Anyone tackled this before? Any advice? This is a link to the American Deluxe Jazz Bass service manual.
