1. Panther, have you checked National Express for coaches? Last time I took a coach from London to Manchester, it only cost me 12 quid! Or maybe post an ad on Gumtree, sometimes other people are looking for people to share travel and costs as well?

Man.... Even tho I come here ever so un-frequently, I know of him and have exchanged a couple of lines with him. This is horrible news!
3. Cool!! So Travis, that was YOU by the bar last year!! We met and you didnt even realise.. hehehe Dood, coolness! Now I'll be able to put a vibe to the name too! Tug my sleeve on the day, alright? I'm the one who's NOT Gary and NOT Stevie Gazunt, you're gonna LOVE it!! It seems to get bigger and better each year, y'kno. Is true!! Anyone, help Panther out? Please? I'll even throw in a Bass=Boss badge!
4. Soooooo, who's going this year? I'll try to post some of last years pics, if my trapped nerves allow me! -Pris
5.
Pris - who was responsible for the abberation that was the headstock in the banner ad? Name & shame...
It was The Bass Day UK Team's responsibility, and on behalf of the Team, I sincerely apologise if it offended anyone. That Dutch bass bash sounds good, who organised it and where was it held? -Pris
6. Large thanks to you as well, Dave! I thoroughly enjoyed your stuff big time. The sound as well as your style was sooo crisp, and round, and bouncy, and bright, yet full. Brilliant! BTW, did you ever get my text, which I sent seconds before I bumped into you? A slapping ban... I'll might suggest to Stevie and Gary to use thumb bands, instead of wrist bands. Thanks SShorepunk for the pic! I'll collect some more, and stick them on Myspace. Thanks for the goodwill! xxx! LOL@Ped - Hope to hook up soon, wear that LED badge so I'll recognise you?
7. Hey Bassheads! I see Gary beat me to it, saying thanks to you guys, but I wanted to give a large shout to you myself as well. You were GREAT!! The vibe was excellent, and so many of you showed your faces, feeding the event with positive energy. BIG BIG THANKS! Also large thanks for expressing your views and opinions, it's very important for us to learn how we can improve our event. Great to meet some of you, I know I'm rubbish at remembering names/faces/birthdays/other, so I'll probably be just as happy to make your acquaintance again next year. I do tend to make new friends every day again, like that. Last year's example - Ped: Hi I'm Ped, good to see you! Me: Hi, great to see you too, have we met before? Ped: It's me, Ped! Me: Sorry.. I know I'm rubbish.. How did we meet again? Ped: The forum and we talk on MSN! Me: Whats your name again? Ped: Ped! Me: I'm not sure.. Ped: We've been chatting on MSN for years! Me: What's your MSN name again? Ped: Ped! Me: Lemme think... Ped: The Basschat forum! Me: Bass chat? Ped: You gave me that picture to use for a cover! Me: I did? Ped: Yeah! Me: Tell me more.. Ped: We have talked sometimes on a two daily basis! Talked about basically life, music, school, bass, everything and anything! Ped! Me: Oh hang on.. it's you! Ped! Why didn't you say so in the first place! Great to see you! I'm good like that. Life is just great, making the same new friends over and over again. I got it right with Ped this year though, so I must be improving.. hehe. But yesh, anyway. I'm really happy you all enjoyed the event!! I haven't had much time, since I've come back, but check MySpace for picture updates soon. If you would like your picture on our Myspace, or Facebook, do bring it on! email: [email protected] for Myspace or just upload it at Facebook. Next year!! -Pris
8. OMG Alun! LOL.. I hadn't picked up on that one, I had to read it twice to spot the Freudian there.. LOL! Bring the wife, BIGd! We can't have a Bass Day without you! I think I remember your face from the previous years as well. Bring her! I'll get one of the players to dedicate a song to her, so there's your present sorted as well.. what more can you wish for? Some people do bring their own basses, and have them signed by the artists or try their own bass out on an amp, or practise as you learn in one of the masterclasses. It's all good, you can bring your bass, as long as you're not asking me to carry it when you're tired of dragging it around.... See you there! -Pris
9. Ped, I'll buy you a belated birthday beer. Promise! Jacko, wow! How long a drive is that? I shall look out for a slightly fat bloke and a tall blind American. I'm just a tiny bit worried though that you're not the only slightly fat bloke on the day... Can't you wear a rose of sorts..? Or perhaps sommink more outstanding, like pink leather trousers? :brow: See you there!
10. Hey Big Numpty , Alun (yay!), Urb Burg, Overwater (The?), Ped, OthersWhoResponded, and rest of Bass Chatters, Yes, Stevie will kick off, at 1pm with his band. There'll be less solo players and more bands this year as it goes. Yolanda Charles will bring her full band, Hadrien Feraud and Janek Gwizdala perform with their trio, TM Stevens will bring a drummer along and Richard Bona is doing a masterclass on his own. More updates: PRIZES!!! We're so happy to have great partners! In this years prize draw, we have a FARIDA BASS, AN INCREDIBLE LENGTH OF ROTO SOUND, ELITES, ELIXER and OVERWATER STRINGS, RICHARD BONA CD's and a magic HIWATT AMP! I'm in the middle of posting more info on the Bass Day Myspace, so more info and credits to be read there. Just gimme a few hours to play with pics, links and buttons, alright? Also, gimme more feedback on the mug or tankard question, please? Aaawww...? I need to order this week latest!
11. A LED scrolling name badge! I_want_one_of_those Cool, I'm bringing T's as well. Also in two minds about pint glasses or mugs... which is more popular? Ah, belated birthday cake then :brow: .. wikkid! Janek's birthday is somewhere around that date as well, you're in good company! -Pris

13.
Some advertising "creative" thought a normally wound string looked boring, I suspect...
Wasn't me, I swear! Happy to see you happy about Bass Day, bass heads! Wikkid! Looking forward to meet you all! Bass Day UK's website crash has been reported, thanks for reporting. See you soon!
14. Bring your relatives, Silverfoxnik! The more the merrier!
15. Great feedback, guys and thanks Mark and Jake for the UPS! Kenny, were you there last year? If so, did you see this then? BOND @ BASS DAY 2007 I know it's only one artist, but throw in Dave Marks and there's already two not-jazz players ticked! I'll look for ways to promote this forum on the event, because you bass heads is who we are doing it for!
