1. Awesome man... It's fun isn't it! I know there's lots of great plugins on the market these days, but it's nice to have a tactile device to warp! The first time I noticed the concept was on YouTube years ago. A guy used a circuit bent Japanese toy duck to produce some really interesting percusssive sounds, and then recorded a melody over the top. Wish I could remember the video (it was in Japanese), but I found it by accident.
2. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has taken the survey so far. I really appreciate it! At the moment, I'm checking to see if there's a market for a repair and modification company and the main competitors (with regards to effects pedals), when I get the custom effects side of the business up and running in year two. I'll post my designs on here in a few months time, with some video demos.
3. Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask for your help. I'm currently working on the last year of my degree and I have to setup a business. I'm interested in starting an electronic repair and modifications business here in the UK. I want to improve other manufactures signal processors, as well as offering circuit bent devices to create quirky musical instruments. I'm also designing a range of effects (not clones) for year two of operation. I have constructed an online survey to form part of my market research and I'm looking for people to undertake a twenty question survey. The form does not require any personal information, I'm just trying to establish buying habits and potential interest in a new UK company offering a repair and modification service. I would like to thank anyone willing to help in advance! Here's the link to the survey: https://houghosaurus.typeform.com/to/rixxZl
4. Hi everyone, I have an MG Music Space City Echo pedal for sale. This cost me £700 from Denmark street about four years ago. I'm asking £350 for it. This is without doubt the most elaborate pedal by MG Music of Brazil. Check out the companies website here: http://www.mgmusic.com.br/en/ The pedal combines three of the best pedals by MG music in a single housing. Two of the creamy, analog "That's Echo Folks" Delays and a single MG Stereo Vibe chorus. The Space City promises hours of fun and creativity. It can produce everything from very warm, vibrant echoes to over the top psychedelic vibrato chorus effects to screeching delays and feedback. The Space City Echo also features two inputs and two outputs, so it can be operated in stereo. Under the hood you will find analog circuits from new-old-stock materials. This is the craziest vintage sounding delay you will hear! It also looks very cool! The two delays can be operated individually or combined and they offer the user up to a full second of analog delay. Furthermore the Space City Echo has two adjustable side foot pots, which can change the feedback rate and delay time without having to bend down, so you can control your sound while playing live. Other Features: - True Bypass - Metal Film Capacitors - High-quality Switchcraft jacks The pedal can run off a 9-volt battery or a 9 volt DC power supply (Boss-style). Brian Eno and Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine) both use one of these (Kevin actually uses a single That's Echo Folks pedal). Need I say more...? Check out the following videos: I live in the UK but will send this worldwide (I'll get an accurate postage price if you contact me) and I do accept PayPal, as long as you pay the fees or send me a personal payment to save on the fees. Aprox Postage: UK £8.50 US/Canada £31.62 Europe £24.00 Aisa/Australia £48.62

7. Just joined! Not really a bass player but I have a Fender Bass VI (1967) and was interested in other basses as I am starting to record. So I thought this was the place to be for all things bass (advice, gear etc..)!
