Total Watts

  1. Funky and flamboyant bassist required to lay it down for splinter group from successful and award winning Soul Pop/Blues band, based in inner London. Examples of previous stage/studio work very much preferable, but not essential. Links to previous line up/recordings/videos available on request. Email/links to [email protected]
  2. I wouldn't have thought it would be so hard to find a Bassist in a city the size of London who's a) into the following kinds of music: Stones, Faces, Muddy, Buddy, Jimi, Fela, Johnny Winter, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Cream, Jack White, Black Keys, Graveyard, Gov't Mule, Beatles, Parliament, Deep Purple, Allman Bros, Skynrd, Sabbath, Police, QOTSA, Nirvana, etc (i.e. 70's Hard Rock , Blues and Funk.) b) Not currently in a band (or exclusively in one band, but hopefully not in 5 others either.) c) Not looking for a a paid gig from the off, or to play covers... Anyone out there fit the bill???
  3. I'm a lead guitarist, bassist, keyboard player, and multi-instrumentalist (30yo,) and I jam with an excellent drummer (whom I also play with in another gigging band.) We're putting together a heavy, groovy, blues-drenched rock band to gig, record, tour, etc. (originals, maybe some covers as well.) We're looking for the right vocalist and bass player to complete our line up. If you can sing old school blues+rock, or you can play bass and have a love of late 60's/early 70's Rock'n'Roll, Funk Blues, and Psychedelic Rock then give us a shout. Ideally we'd like someone with some experience and ability to contribute and write material as well as perform. A high degree of commitment is a must, as we intend to practice at least twice a week if at all possible... Genres: Blues, Hard Rock, Rock'n'Roll, 70's Funk Influences: Stones, Faces, Muddy, Buddy, Jimi, Fela, Johnny Winter, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Cream, Jack White, Black Keys, Graveyard, Gov't Mule, Beatles, Parliament, Deep Purple, Allman Bros, Skynrd, Sabbath, Police, QOTSA, Nirvana, etc

  5. London based Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and drummer (both early 30's) are looking for retro style funky/bluesey/groovy (non-pro) Bass player for jamming/songwriting/gigging - as far as it will go basically. Both experienced and good contacts. Influences: Stones, Black Crowes, Muddy Waters, Jack White, Sly, Cream, Hendrix, Gov't Mule, Fela Kuti, Graveyard, Sabbath, lots of old skool Blues, 70's Rock, Funk and Soul.
