Hi All Does anybody know the Roland Street EX speaker dispersion pattern when mounted on pole?

My rig setup is Peavey MiniMax With Eden ex110 for small folk/country gigs, It's plenty loud enough Gain set often set at 9 o'clock & at 12 o'clock volume on bass at about 1/2 way ample for pubs or events up to aprox 50-60 people for larger gigs I add an extra ex112 to give it clout. lovely rich full sound and with the MiniMax you've got plenty of scope to dial in sound that suits your style. For me, fantastic bit of kit never had any problems. Many people have given positive comments on the sound.

Hi Folks Need new volume pot for Ibanez preamp on my aeb8e acoustic bass. It is completely knackered, keep cutting out. Have taken old one off, see photos below (with lettering & number on bottom of pot). Does anybody know where i can get one. Name, address & phone number would be helpful. Thanks Colin

I put speaker top hat in bottom of guitar amp, put it on a speaker stand and bob's your uncle. Height of amp can be anywhere from you're waist to above your head. The amp we use is a Marshall AS50d In some venues when using it with mic & guitar we have had it just above head height, amazing difference in being able to hear yourself & others hearing us clearly.

The Peavey Minimax is overall a great amp and sounds fantastic paired with Eden EX112 Only grip is noise level of fan, but once you start playing you don't notice it.

Roqsolid for me to. Been using them for several years on many different amps & cabs. Recommend them.

Have been playing on Fenix p bass for a fare few years (also own Ibanez RB924 & ibanez aeb8e). The Fenix is the go to guitar every time, it's setup with low action & Rotosound flat strings. It is amazing, plays like butter. Compared it to friends genuine Fender p bass, the Fenix had slightly smoother action. Have been asked if I wanted to sell it by several bassist's. Yeah it's worth a bit of tlc, but make sure it's setup correctly & that will help your playing. You could have a famous named guitar worth thousands but if it's not setup correctly it will feel & play like s--t. Don't become a guitar snob, enjoy making music. Guitar's are like women, they all need to be handled differently.

Hi peps Although I registered a while ago I thought it was time to introduce myself to you folks on Basschat. I was originally a skin basher for several years & played in a few bands, i.e. country but mainly the old style rock n roll. But deep down I have always been a frustrated bass player, so aprox 5yrs ago started to learn bass & have been playing on & off ever since. Late last year I thought it was time to get back to playing in a band, even though i'm not as good at playing bass as I was on the sticks, & put this together with the fact that i'd never sung before, we thought we would give it a go. It's been said, your never to old, & although were in the over 50's club & not being brilliant we have got something up & running, a folk/country/rock band/trio & if your interested, visit [color=#0000ff][i]hartleysjamband.co.uk [/i][/color] Any constructive tips or criticism welcomed. It's not about perfection, it's about enjoyment. I have already enjoy reading some of the forums and comments on Basschat site. It looks a friendly site & i'm looking forward to see where it leads.
