5.
We supported Midge Ure last year and he went onstage with an "out of the box" Vintage V100, a Vox valvetronix amp and a Marshall blues breaker pedal oh yeah and a shed load of talent (and sadly a shed load of ego) He reckoned it was every bit as good as any of the genuine Les Paul's he owned.
Was going to mention this - I saw him in one of those 80s revues last year with the V100 & Valvetronix - sounded great out front.

 10. You can get a lot of the recordings on import from the USA. Apparently the LA Symphony used to use his recording sessions as technique work-outs - with all the atonal scales and 64th note sequences they'd come out from the studio wrecked and drenched in sweat.
 11. A Roland Bass Cube 30. Nice example here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-30W-Cube-Bass-Amp-/170982798406
 12. Broke my wrist long time ago and was in plaster for 6 weeks ! When they took it off (apart from the smell) I was horrified to see the damage all that muscle atrophy had done. Until then I'd virtually stopped playing - the fear that I'd never play again gave me a much needed kick in the ass. IIRC took 3 months for the pain to go and 6 months for full strength to return. Get some foam stress balls to re-build your grip.
