Total Watts

1. I need to get a set of casters for a Warwick WCA 411 Pro cab, and was wondering if anyone knew what type I need to buy, or if anybody had an old set about that they'd be willing to sell I know a warwick sell them as spares, but they are really expensive and I'm sure they are pretty standard. Thanks
2. I've been reading a lot that the BH500 is 500 TC watts, which is actually around 236 watts rms. They have some circuitry that makes it sound like 500 watts ( whatever that means )
3. Thanks mate, that's been a great help. Think I'll go ahead and order today
4. Did you go with the BH500 and the BC212 in the end? I'm thinking of going with the same setup. Already have the BC212 and am about to order the BH500 head, but worried that it will be too much for the single cab. The TC website isnt much help either. Can anyone confirm if using the head at 8 ohms with the one cab will put out 250 watts rms? Thanks
5.
Doom metal wedding band? Hmmm...
Bloody hell, why didn't I think of that??!! I ended up going for the Peavey Tour TKO. Seems to tick all the boxes I'm looking for. The main thing that put me off the BG250 was its inability to take an extension cab. Thanks for your help everyone
6. Hi all. Is it normal to get a crackling or static sort of sound from the tweeter on a 2x10 cab when the tweeter is turned right up? It disappears completely when the tweeter is turned right down. Thanks
7. Actually ive just been offered a Warwick pro fet 5.1 500w head and a Warwick WCA 211 400w 2x10 cab for a good price. Does this sound like a good set up and will it do what I want?
8. Thanks guys. I'M playing an Epiphone Thunderbird pro 4 with active pickups. I'm just getting back into playing after a long hiatus and want to be doing something pretty heavy. Trying to get a doom metal band going, but not going to be downtuned too far. Also looking to get into a wedding type of outfit as well, so looking something loud but versatile as well. Thanks for your help
9. Hi all. I'm looking at two combos and would appreciate some advice on which would be most suitable for practice and gigging. They are the TC Electronic BG250 and the Peavey Tour TKO 115. Thanks
10. Thanks for the advice all Well my bass arrived today and I love it. To be honest if I hadn't read about the neck length thing yesterday, I probably wouldnt have even thought about it feeling long when I finally tried it out. I'm only 5ft 9, so not that tall and to be honest it doesnt feel like that big a stretch to me. The only problem I have is that I got an Epiphone leather strap with it and its way too short. I like my bass to hang pretty low and the Epiphone just wont do. The suede back on it was great though. Not a bit of neck dive with it on. Changed it for a normal materia lPlanet waves strap and do notice a wee bit of dive, but not much. Need to keep my eyes open for a good wide and long long strap now...and a hard case
11. Thanks for all the kind welcomes Bass arrived today and it's amazing. So pleased to own a bass again As a new years resolution I had given myself a year to buy all new gear and get back out gigging again. Phase 1 complete Milty we may have crossed paths before. I've played in a few death metal and hardcore bands in Belfast. Oh and all your kneecaps are safe from me...I promise
12. Hi all, Thought I should call in and say hello I've been playing bass and guitar for about 25 years now, but am just getting back into it after a 6 year break while we had 2 children. Taking delivery of an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro IV tomorrow and cant wait to get my hands on it. Cheers
13. Thanks guys, thats great information. I'm not just as worried now. Cant wait to get my hands on it to see what its like though
