  2. Use Fender Jazz Basses and use the neck pup cover as a rest.
  3. Hi Dane, aye it was a cauld night up the Ettrick, where I stay. I know a few on that list! I play with Soul 56 and Medicine Hat. I played in the thrown together blues band at the end of the night at Cullum's wee gig. Cheers!
  4. Hello and welcome, also located in the Scottish Borders.
  5. Never give up dude, I'm 64 (the grumpy old git) and play in two bands. One is a very serious blues band and the other is a kinda soul/r & b/Blues Brothers outfit and we played a blinder at an outdoor festival on Sunday night. Step back man.

  10. Tell me about it, everything that used to bounce off disnae any mair! I am plugging on, innumerable muscular and bone problems, turned 64 last month but still gigging away wi twa bands!
  11. I use them all the time now, great straps especially when yer getting auld!
  12. I normally use Fender Jazz basses as the neck suits me. Although a few years ago I bought a crafted in Japan Aerodyne Jazz bass with the J pup and P pup and it has the most incredibly thin neck. Worth a look.
