  1. Hummh, okay .....I guess ? Thank You mate for that info. This brand is hardly visible at all in Canada and I assumed these were a German made bass, a la Warwick for example ?
  2. What do you mean "substantially" built in Germany 1. Most of the instrument is done in Germany, some of it elsewhere ? 2. It is made in Germany , a bass of substance. I tend to think it is the former, because I was always wondering how a bass of this pedigree and German made could be so cheap in price ?? Thanks
  3. Hey Peter You know I did the math and your bass price is not that crazy high as I thought compared to US and Japan prices. My address is TORONTO Canada Postal Code M1B 2W5 MOST boxes are 50x18x8 inches and circa 25 pounds. I'll have to factor a crazy 13% HST (like your VAT) And then BROKERAGE AND DUTY (7% for Japan goods). THEN , I can see if this purchase is viable. VERY CLEAN specimen mate ! Lionel
  4. Wondering ? I'm a Yamaha collector. What are the logistics to ship this Toronto CANADA. Of course I would pay shipping. I missed a Yamaha BB 3000 Black several years ago and the seller said there was a not too expensive freight to Canada. Please advise Email:[email protected] as I don't check this site often. Thank You Lionel Williams
  5. Okay bud, sure I understand thanks for responding
  6. Hi there What is the condition out of 10 ? Looks to be clean. Is that an original Yamaha case also ? I am a Yamaha collector in Toronto Canada. depending on the shipping would you consider shipping to Canada ? Thanks mate Lionel Williams
  7. Yes I agree 100% that the bridge and pots are original.on this bass advertised here on this site..I HAVE ONE in the same Firemist Silver. I have a factory brass nut and the somewhat rare factory numbered knobs. Mine is 100% original.
  8. is there a US dollar price ? original case ??
  9. Is this bass still for sale ? Is this listed on EBay ? Thanks Lionel
  10. Hummh. I can see that that is a Custom paint job, as you state BUT bro, that is not the original neck/serial number. Fender did NOT offer the Deluxe Jazz in 1997 with Blocks on the fingerboard. So I can assume that this was another Custom add on ? And lastly this model is called the Jazz Bass Deluxe. The name American Deluxe did not come into use until July 1998--when John Suhr and Fender Corp. parted ways. Nice case, but again not the original. In your favor, Maple boards though offered as a no charge option are rather rare. AND your bass appears to have the Suhr pickups and likely (hopefully) the Suhr preamp. Second to none and better than most--including after market high priced preamps. Collection ? I don't understand the inclusion of this ? Plz explain ? If you need any additional info I would be happy to send you the official documentation that I received from Fender. I do collect and play these specific models from 1995-1998 (pre July). GLWTS.
  11. do you have any pics ? any more details--color, condition, weight etc ? thanks
