  1. I am the drummer wear IEMs. The others can do whatever they want, and now we have a new keyboard player join, he has a monitor, so the guitarist is really happy about that, he has been complaining for a while he couldn't hear well, and I kept pointing out we had many monitor out sockets left if he wanted to do anything about it.
  2. I actually didn't like the song until I had to learn the bassline, but quite a few songs have been like that!
  3. Our guitarist doesn't use IEMs for that reason, but for me, IEMs are a revelation. The band are too loud to not wear hearing protection anyway, which means you already have to jam something in your ears and with the IEMs it gives me the confidence to sing properly, can't do it without them, it sounds terrible (not that it is great with them!)
  4. And then they emailed yesterday!
  5. I suspect their email system is fine, just that they aren't sending any messages! I guess I have to chase it up again, they were waiting for a part on the 9th March, I guess they are hard to get..
  6. I used to use the Voice Live play, which is the cheap one, and it can do quite a lot, but after a while I realised I just needed the gang vocal thing, so I have a TC Critical Mass pedal which does what I need.
  7. I get the marketing emails on the sunday from them. Don't seem to be as quick with the updates to the effects pedal I sent back to them a few months ago to fix.
  8. When you say bulkier, is that also heavier? I always hae the problem of one of my KZZ10s falling out, bad ear shape I guess, but it doesn't help that its heavy.
  9. I never change the channel so its probably something you get used to. Yes, it was a bit bigger than my 2.4GHz dongles, but I figured maybe it needed to be.
  10. That is the same one I have, other than mine is white and cuvave, used for the last n years now, and never had a problem with. I only got them because I lost my previous ones and my smoothhound was being repaired, but they have been so trouble free and reliable over the last years that I would need something to pull me away from using them. They also have the advantage of being very light, so they don't flap too much
  11. Our lessons were pretty useless and fairly haphazard, more done from the fact they had to do it rather than any love of doing it.
  12. In which case it is an accurate rendition of tool! Well worth it - saw them in the O2 last year, in general I don't like stadiums but that was fantastic. Remember to keep your phone in your pocket!
  13. Well, that makes sense - what you are paying so much for is that it is an antique, and if it has been modified it is not the same thing
