  1. Good heavens - what is that Trace rig? Surely that will blast folk out of the balcony 😂😂
  2. Maybe he didn’t want to make an Ass of himself?!?
  3. Very interesting thanks for sharing. Usually the whole point of IEM is he reduce the level of sound from the stage monitors. Before we moved to IEM the stage volume, was so high, the front of house PA was almost pointless!! Moving to IEM Has dramatically reduced the stage volume and we also now benefit from a click track. Maybe the OP drama is very light touch because I have no difficulty hearing any of the drum kit, even with my IEM in 😂😂 all that said, the real beauty for the musicians is that we each control our own IEM through iPads and an MD can cue where we’re going - “to the bridge” !! The worship leader, who also plays acoustic generally prefers not to use IEM realise on a wedge monitor. It all took quite a bit of time to get used to, and luckily I’ve also managed to retain my Bass head and speaker which allows you to “feel” the Bass😂 as well - a bit like having one of those floor pad thingies!
  4. I’m familiar with “Get Lucky” but hadn’t listened to the rest of the album until it was mentioned here - there’s a couple of other tracks on there that I really like. Some weird stuff too !!
  5. These are exactly what we use in our church - nice affordable piece of kit. I had my own (to go with my KZs) but later the church bought the P1 for everyone, and as the OP said, its then up to the individuals to get their own in-ears which I think is fair. As I always worry about battery failure, I got the mains adapter for mine, and it sits on the amp head, and then I connect a 3m mini-jack extension so I can wander about whilst playng. On more than one occasion I've walked off stage forgetting I'm connected and had a bit of yank !!!
  6. +1 for the KZ ZS10 Great bass response provided you’ve got a really snug fit of the tip (they come with several sizes). We also control our own IEM mix using iPads.
  7. Lovely! You could sell one of those USA Cirrus to get money for the cab - just sayin Meanwhile GLWTS !!
  8. Beautiful bass and I can quite understand the original purchase “rationale”. Must have been a very tough time to say the very least. GLWTS
  9. Don’t know if this still available but it deserves a Christmas bump for such a lovely Warwick 👍🏻
  10. Ooh thanks very much. I might give that a try. At the moment I’m stuck at Midi-Ox saying “no devices connected”! ordered a new USB lead in case that’s the issue…..
  11. Love these basses - 35” scale I think? whats the weight & string spacing?
  12. Yep so definitely needs something more than just the USB cable 🤣 There is a link on the Sweetwiter site to "Midioxse" https://www.sweetwiter.com/sweetcare/articles/how-do-i-send-and-receive-sysex-on-pc-or-mac/ as part of this article which looked promising, but my PC/McAfee says the site is not secure, so I'm a bit dubious about running the Exe file !! All a bit frustrating as I'm not an IT numptee but then neither am I an IT wizard - hang on a minute my son in law is an IT Manager for a big company - I will ask him !! For now, I'm putting the Moog back on the shelf for toinght (the USB cable does reach the PC with it in its place!!), although I'm chuffed that I sorted out a pitch-wheel malfunction using the system utilities menu - all working fine now !
  13. Thanks Ray - yes I saw that although don’t need Moog software downloaded. Couldn’t see Sysex on their website but have raised a tech query with them. Meanwhile I might just try the download without a DAW !
  14. Thanks that’s v helpful. No I don’t have a DAW sadly. Yes I wasn’t sure from the instruction sheet whether it could be as simple as just plugging the USB cable from the Phatty to the PC (running the humble Windows 10!). Not bothered about the weird assortment of Moog patches as it’s for bass use but thanks for the warning!
  15. Hi folks, I want to download some sound patches for my Moog Little Phatty, having never done that before, and wondered if anyone could recommend any free Midi software - which I believe I need in order to download said patches. These are said patches from a well respected provider: https://www.synthonia.com/marketplace/moog/little-slim-phatty/moog-little-slim-phatty-funky-leads-basses-detail Any help gratefully received ! David
