1.
Just ordered a pair of Superlux H661's
I'm sure you won't be disappointed, be sure to report back with your opinion.
 2. I'm going to suggest Superlux hd661's or hd681 evo's. I've used sennheisers and akg's in the past and although better, they're not that much better imo. And for the price (dirt cheap on thomann) it's not going to be much issue if you disagree with them. I use the closed back 661's for monitoring and the semi open 681's for general listening to loud sh*t when the kids are sleeping. Worth checking out reviews if nothing else, got some cool design features like the detachable cable.

 4. Yeah, just been through all this. I issued a refund once I was eligible to claim compensation. Just been confirmed today that I'll get my tokens in 5-7 days, it's been a real pain in the farter and has been going on for 5 weeks. From now on I will be quite meticulous with paperwork, it nearly got thrown out due to me not issuing a receipt. I'm sure this particular courier is now down in the op's estimations but none of them are immune. They are human beings after all, although the procedures for claiming are a little extreme. Definately something to be acquainted with before entering an agreement.
 5. It was stolen in transit between Aberdeen and Huddersfield around a month ago. It is being investigated but it is suspected to have been part of a stolen consignment en route to the processing centre.
 6. In light of recent heart warming accounts of owners being reunited with their tea leafed basses. I too am on the hunt for a stolen bass. A mexican precision with the serial number MX12318730. It's white and maple with ashtrays, or evidence of ashtrays being fitted, and a creme aftermarket scratchplate. I've been keeping an eye out on ebay and gumtree with the intention of enquiring about the sn. Any info and you'll get one in the barrell, find it for me and you'll get 100 quid as seems to be the going rate.
 7.
Go on, guys, create some new threads like this for your basses, you never know, you might strike lucky!
Good plan!
 8.
Ooooh... Heavy? Light? In between?
7.9lbs or 3.6kg in euros according to the wifes bathroom scales. I'd say in between.

 10. Bought this a wee while ago. If it had a jazz neck I would keep it as a backup as the colour is lovely. But she has a p bass neck. Very similar to the modern precision neck found on recent p basses. The wiring is sound, orange cap, vvt, string through body, the body is wood but not sure which one, it's definately not mdf anyway. Pickups are pretty hot, not sure on which exactly. Fender branded tuners and fender decal. Not sure on exact colour but its surf/seafoam greeny blueish I'd say! Will be shipped with fender padded gigbag. Askng what I paid, 165 posted. 11.
Damn! Where did you find that? It's not far off my perfect colour combo. P
Ebay, buy it now. Think it had been on 10mins when I grabbed it. I always sort by newly listed so I get some bargains from time to time.
 12. I know Saturday was a holiday in Scotland but not elsewhere in the UK. The weather has been nuts too, I know I wouldn't fancy going outside with a huge box atm, I'd end up in Norway!
 13. I'm having a nightmare with parcelforce, and for the first time too. Missed last collection on new years eve. It was collected on Monday the 4th from my local PO according to tracking info, it's now Wednesday the 7th and no more updates on the tracking. At least I took out enhanced compensation, took photos of the packing and box and informed teller of the contents in case it wouldn't be covered. I expect their hella busy still so fingers crossed. Last bass I sent with them was delivered within 20 hours.
 14. Och, it was black as well, not a fan of black jaguars (basses, I'd happily have the four wheeled version). But to satisfy my GAS, I picked up a PJ special copy (well done copy at that) in surf/seafoam green, string through body, fender tuners, 70's decal and Fullerton neck plate with change from 170. Eager to rip it to bits to see what I'm playing with. It's my birthday so why not! 15. A 70's Aria copy of a certain brand of an iconic bass we're not allowed to speak about has appeared on the bay. Needs work but she's a 99p start.....
