2. As a bass player & sound engineer, here are my "weapons of choice". My upright bass is missing from the photo.
3. Thank you all for advice! I really appreciate it.
4. In November, I am going to have an interview/seminar in regards to audio recording at the Academy of Sound Engineering in Warsaw. From 10am to 7pm, transportation and lodging paid. Interview will also be printed in music magazine. On top of that, organizers are asking me about my fee. How much? I have no idea, don't want to under nor over charge for it. Any advice? I will greatly appreciate your feedback.
5. Using MacOS Smart choice! I've been using Mac since 1987 (nothing else), when only sequencers were available. Now I am working with Logic (since 2007), which really RULES! Presonus has really good audio monitors and they are not expensive, check them out!
6. Recording new material with "Sauer Adler". If you like Psychedelic Rock, you'll like it! Using Logic Studio. Have been using and teaching it for years.
7. I have dual citizenship so I can always go back. Little change of surroundings is good for me. I always missed Europe.
8. I am based out of Poland, but available for serious gigging, recording & touring.
9. Using Logic Studio & Studio One on MacOS X (Only, no WIN allowed )
10. I figured Just in case if some band comes across my posting.
11. I think, I've tried them all and my favorite of all is Thomastik Infeld. They are not cheap (made in Vienna) but what a sound!!! And most important - they do last and always feel great.. from the beginning to the end. Other strings are very stiff when new and short after feel like spaghetti, not these strings. Well, company has been making strings for centuries so they know their sh*t!
12. Hi, I recently moved from USA where I grew up and now I'm in Poland where I was born. I am new to this forum, therefore would like to introduce myself. My name is Sebastian and I've been playing bass since I was 12 yrs. old. Looking for a project to join. If you're or someone you know is looking for a bass player, please keep me in mind. I do live, breath, eat music! Also, I used to work as an Instructor teaching sound engineering at California Recording Institute in San Francisco. My bio & recordings are available @ MySpace.com/EuropeanBass & facebook.com/EuropeanBassPlayer
