Total Watts

  1. Bump - Will consider offers. Let me know if you're interested.
  2. Limelight 1962-Spec Precision Bass. I think this is one of the earlier Limelights (due to the headstock having “that” logo) and I bought it direct around 4 years ago. Neck is quite chunky. Tuners are reverse. Virtually no fret fret wear at all due to flats. Chrome bridge/pickup covers are also included but not pictured. Sounds exactly as it should. Strung with LaBella “Deep Talkin” Flatwounds (£50 a set on their own). A proper “Motown Machine” that will make you sound just like Jamerson! The only thing I have changed on this is the saddles. The original threaded ones were just too (ahem) "reliced" so I replaced them (and the grubs & screws) with solid brass. I can include a deluxe thomann gig bag if you need one. Cash on collection only from Nottingham (near M1/J26). I also travel to Birmingham New St. station (almost) daily and am happy to meet at lunchtime or before/after work if this is of use to a potential buyer. No trades on this one thanks as I am thinning the heard (so to speak). Sometimes, I do not receive notifications so if you do reply, please let me know you have done so by direct email (my username @hotmail.com) or text on 07989952656 and I will reply on this site as soon as possible. Thanks.
  3. That's just too tempting (seeing as I have the matching Limelight P)!
  4. Bump - Prefer cash sale but might be tempted on interesting guitar stuff!
  5. Hartke Bass Rig Full & complete setup for gigging bassist. Included is Hartke 3500 head Hartke XL Series 115XL Hartke XL Series 2.5XL (2x10) Fender RT1000 stage tuner. 2 x custom made speaker cables. "Hot Covers" padded vinyl covers for both cabs. Head & tuner housed in Gator 3U rack mount. Everything in excellent condition except for the odd gigging mark. May be interested in trades or offers - particularly guitar gear. Collection from M1/J26 (Nottingham/Derbyshire) or may be able to deliver for petrol money. If you're interested in this stuff, please send me a quick text to say you've PM'd me 07989952656 Pics Here: http://s1277.photobucket.com/user/steviebee74/library/Sale%20Stuff/Hartke%20Bass%20Rig Cheers
  6. Ok so this time, I took a close up from the actual book rather than google. I'm still convinced it's a slab!
  7. Ok, as far as I'm aware, the "Slab" P Basses were exclusive to the UK yet, whilst browsing the book "American Music" by Annie Leibovitz, I stumbled upon an interesting image. On page 82, there is an image of a blues player named Johnnie Billington. Taken in 2001, this image shows him with some of his students at his blues school. The young bass player is clearly playing a slab-bodied p bass with a gold anodised pickguard. I've attached a copy found on Google which is a little hazy but in the book, you can clearly see the slab body! Of course, it could be retrofit or even one of our 66's that may have found its way over the pond but I just thought it looked interesting.
  8. I have a set of these for exactly that purpose and they've been excellent: http://www.musicgeardirect.co.uk/headphones-565/shure-srh240a-headphones
