Total Watts

  1. Borrow a pbass from someone and see for yourself. My first bass was a 78 musicmaster bass and down the line borrowing a pbass for a gig was a massive eye opener. I sold the musicmaster and never looked back
  2. ER30 heads are el84 valve heads, not SS like ER40 or ER100
  3. mid 60's wem er30 head and super 30 cab
  4. I used to have an early 60's Selmer Treble n' Bass 50 mk1 (croc era) and it was a great amp for bass. Treble channel was killer. Sold it to someone in Japan many years ago.
  5. passed away today at 58, way too soon and only few hours before a gig. First album (Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)) is one of my favourite albums. Production by John Cale is raw and perfect. Still sounds fresh today and Paul's bass is pretty much backbone of it:
  6. Been re-discovering Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People etc.. and John Cale's production + Paul Ryder's bass are so good. Their best album IMO
  7. Cigarette burns Headstock break repairs 9v battery compartments
  8. yes they also had that nice blue sparkle '64 P. Lovely stuff https://www.cashconverters.co.uk/shop/product/fender-precision-bass-guitar-p-bass-1964-pre-cbs/227699
  9. Joe Bonamassa has a very nice '66 slab precision in his collection. FFWD to 01:02:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcqG4Zun22Y
  10. Not a refin. It's completely original
  11. Thanks mine is a light '74. Check the weight before you buy.
