Total Watts

1. These don't look like Super Fatty - they're likely FD3. Very funky color indeed
2. My boss owns a hotel with a nice little private garden. I happen to have the key and shot a little something with this bass there last summer. Straight into the interface, slightly compressed and low passed. Feel free to request a different style, I do have a modeler (Line 6 Helix) plugged in at home for more of an amp'd tone.
3. For sale, a 5 string Torzal bass built by Jerome Little in the USA This is "a little" unusual : the neck is twisted by design to keep the player's wrist as straight as possible in order to help prevent (or work around) hand injuries. For more information on this : http://littleguitarworks.com/torzal-natural-twist/ The wait time is around 2 years to have one of these built! While it really did help with the issues I was having at the time, the tone is "too traditional" for me. I am equiped to record so if you'd like to hear something let me know. Specs: - 34'' scale - 17.5mm string spacing - Walnut body - Zebrano top - Maple/Walnut neck-through - Wenge fretboard - Nordstrand pickups (MM4.2 & DC5) - Vol/Bal/Tone + 2 toggle switches (putting bobins of each pickup in series/parallel/split) - Hipshot hardware - 9.2 lbs / 4.1 kg - Great gigbag included - Adjustment tools included - Truss rod cover (removed on the pictures) included 2,300£ (also happy to accept EUR, USD or CHF) Wire transfer (prefered) or Paypal Shipping to Europe (from France) included, discount if picked up in/around Geneva Trades unlikely, except for - The right Dingwall bass (no other basses please) - Charvel Guthrie Govan guitar (feel free to offer an alternative) - Softube Console 1 - No amps, cabs, ...
4. You probably know what you're looking at : Darkglass Microtubes 900, great little 900 Watt class D amp with a TON of power and headroom. Works extremely well as a clean amp but probably most sought after for the built-in distortion circuits (B7K and Vintage Microtubes). Very good condition as the pictures will attest. Footswitch included (use any instrument mono jack cable) Please note I may not be able to supply the proper IEC cable for your area (unless you live in Switzerland or France) 650£ shipped to Europe (although I live in Switzerland I will ship to the EU from France - no custom fees for you !) Wire transfer (prefered) or Paypal. Also happy to accept payments in EUR, USD or CHF. Trades unlikely but I can't stop you from trying.
5. Want. Bank account says no. In case something sells - shipping to France ?
6. I'd offer something involving a Fame Baphomet NTB 4 (extremely warwicky) + cash but now's not the best time If it's still here in ~3 months (which it should not be) I'll PM you
7. Hey, I got a used Fame Baphomet NTB a few years ago. I thought only musicstore.de carried them - until now. Very decent bass especially for the money I paid. I've swapped out the active MEC stuff (batteries suck - plus mine doesn't have a battery compartment). The neck is definitely chunkier than a Fender which I've grown to enjoy. Here's a cover I used it for https://www.youtube....h?v=1w722hIzEpY
8. Sorry for your loss. This is a very nice bass. Granted it's an earlier version but they usually sell for a bit more.
9. Yes please take it. I've been thinking about this way too much. Put my SJ4 up for sale, then cancelled it, then...
10. Would you consider a partial trade for a 4 string Dingwall Super J ?
11. Hey guys, So I'm nearing completion of a pedalboard that took much planning, drawing and tinkering and I'm very happy with the way it's coming together. However I have room left for : - one more small top jacks pedal - one more smallish (up to Empress sized) pedal that has to be controllable via MIDI for presets/bypass since I have only 1 loop left in my midi controlled looper and it will very likely be for the other pedal (I'll control all my effects remotely from a very small "satelite" pedalboard) I had originally settled on getting the Earthquaker Grand Orbiter V2 phaser when it would come out BUT in the meantime Chase Bliss Audio announced their Wombtones pedal that is MIDI controllable through an Empress Midibox (I could stick them on top of each other - would be 1 power plug short but I must be able to work something out!) Therefore, unless someone has a crazy great idea for the MIDI controlled pedal (besides the Eventide H9) I'm probably looking for a top jacks one. Looking forward to hearing fellow pedal junkie's suggestions, and thanx in advance for the brainstorming. So far I've considered : - 3leaf Audio upcoming mystery "rusty box" (???) - 3leaf Audio Proton (envelope filter - had one but let it go 'cause I don't do the funk thingy) - Dr Scientist Mini Reverberator (as rotary sim. to cope an organ tone paired with the HOG2... but we have a key player) - Dr Scientist Tremolessence (tremolo - anyone tried that before an envelope filter?) - Heavy Electronics El Oso (another distortion?) - Smallsound/Bigsound Mini (another fuzz?) - Earthquaker Arpanoid (arpegiator looks fun... but real-world usability?) - Greenhouse Retro Sky (delay, but if I got one I'd likely want tap tempo & presets) Here's what I have on my boards: Satellite - Remote control for the main board - Tuner - Boss PS-6 (for whammy octave up effect) - Digitech The Drop? Or [sfx] Micro Thumpinator? Or... still working that out. - Expression pedal on the floor Main board - Iron Ether Subterranea (synthy octaver) in loop 1 - Empress Compressor (always on) in insert loop / putting it before the SubT would be best but unpractical - Electro Harmonix HOG2 (MIDI controlled) in insert loop - Iron Ether Oxide (high gain gated fuzz) in loop 2 - Darkglass B3K (ballsy distortion) in loop 3 - 3leaf Audio You're Doom (mellow synthy fuzz) in loop 4 - Iron Ether Polytope (detune chorus) in loop 5 - NOTHING YET in loop 6 - Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe (resonant envelope filter) in loop 7 - Dr Scientist BitQuest (set to ring mod but might sometimes switch it to flanger/bit crusher/delay) in loop 8 - ?Chase Bliss Audio Wombtones? (MIDI controlled) - Strymon Big Sky (MIDI controlled) - Darkglass Vintage Deluxe (barely colored preamp/DI) - Oh, and a Mission Expressionator but that's not in the signal chain
12. None of their basses are really intended for BEAD though it can of course be done. The Super P & J are 32'' to 34.25'' for 4 strings or 35'' for 5 strings. For what it's worth I dropped my Super P's B string all the way down to a G for a song and it still sounded strong and clear (though it felt like an overcooked spaghetti).
13. This is a true bargain for the asking price. I have a neck through Baphomet - lovely bass and the only non-Dingwall I'm keeping.
