Hi guys, The band I play in is seeking a bassist to complete the lineup. We have a singer, two guitarists, and a drummer. Our music is original modern hard rock, similar to bands like Young Guns, but also influenced by a wide range of other bands including Soasin, Circa Survive, Muse, Killswitch Engage, Paramore, Tool. We are based in Manchester. All of us are aged 26-31, drive, own our own equipment, and have plenty of experience. A set list is near completion however we are fully open to working creatively with a new member if it can be improved in any way. The commitment would be for a minimum of one mid week practice session per week (day flexible), and the intention would be to gig frequently and to record and promote an EP by the end of this year. This is intended to be a serious venture, so we are seeking a similarly minded musician to join us. The previous bassist is now the lead vocalist in the band. The instrumental demos have been recorded in drop D, however we now tune to Drop C to suit the range of the singer. Auditioning with a bass in Drop C is not necessary however it would be expected that if selected the bassist would have correct equipment for performing the set.
