1. For sale is my Mesa Boogie 4x10 Vintage Powerhouse combo. This has not been gigged or taken out of the house since purchase. Has some light signs of use but it pretty good condition. Collection preferred from Birmingham (B29 area). Thanks, Matt (07554519171) ogsbptsl7grp9h2wblvb.jfif

Collection preferred from Birmingham, but may consider meeting halfway or courier. 3. Yep - I bought it with the intention of playing it with my Verellen meatsmoke (now sold). Possibly the best bass sound I've had.
4. It's with a heavy heart that I'm listing this. I ordered this bass January 20th 2015, and took delivery 4th November 2016. The spec is: Maple bird's-eye facing Mahogany core Vintage satin stain finish Side dots (between lines) Fretless ebony board with lined pear The band I was playing bass in folded just before I took delivery of this from Paul at Wal, and I have been back playing guitar in my main band since, and I'm looking to finance a Gibson Murphy Lab or Historic Makeover Les Paul. This bass has probably had less than 20 hours of home based play. In August 2017 the neck was sent to H.G. Thor (Woodwiz, New York) to undergo a full epoxy treatment which has now made this a top pro level instrument. Please note, H.G's wait list was already 4 years at the time this work was carried out, and I went on his list long before the Wal was ordered. I don't know if he still carries out this type of work, but is considered the best in the business for epoxy work. The bass is listed on the Wal Registry so buy with confidence It plays incredibly either with rounds or flats (I'll put the thomastiks back on before sale). Happy for potential buyers to come and try it out (Birmingham, B29). Preference is on collection due to value, but might entertain shipping/overseas etc. Also listed on Reverb and the bay (100% positive feedback on both). No trades. Thanks Matt (07554519171)
5. I tried it out, and it sold during the day whilst I was trying to scrape the cash together to buy it I'm in the process of commissioning a clone of it with Electric Wood, but just wondered if this one was still in the UK.
6. Out of curiosity, who bought the '84 fretless from Bassdirect in 2013?
7.
Looking good! Yes, the HB2s have been around a while, but the HB7 versions are new.
They look nice - kind of remind me of the set of Fender Coronado/mustang bass lollypops I sold a while ago.
8. After having lollypop tuners on by '69 Jazz for a long time I hunted down the Hipshots about 4 years ago for My midi bass build. Managed to get hold of one of their lollipop drop tuners too
9. Hey Chris - might be worth you looking into Q-tuner pickups - I have some of their BS jazz bass pickups mated up to an East J-retro (with S-1 style mod). Might get you near to that open growly Wal sound - though to be honest I had a noodle on a Wal Custom last saturday and think I might need one

11. Have a look at Pepper Pedalboards. Just got a board finished by John in Marshall Purple tolex - stunning work.
