Can modern amps sound as good as all-valve vintage gear?

i think it is no question of as good..they sound different. there is no rigth or wrong..it is just the question of your taste or not. there are beautiful sounding modern amps out there and as well lovely grandpas -

As a got a very kind pm with a helpful advice, i would like to introduce myself. i am 35 years old, love to play the bass now for roundabout 3 years and play mostly some rock music. i am actually in a band cold wildhoney, which is somekind of mainstream rock/pop. For those GAS guys i love to play ampeg with a p bass and really love those old fender basses, but i am not religious in fenderism or sth like that there are so much beautifgul basses out there and so little time have a great time and keep it low best regards

Fellow Basschatters, up for sale is my beloved early 70s Fender Precision bass in sunburst due to financial difficulties. As you can see, it is in a lovely condition and always handled with a real care for beautiful instruments like this one. Please take a look at the back of the instrument and the nice grain of the wood. The action is real low without unwanted noises the neck was built by famous J.Torres, which should be a familiar name to those Fender lovers, who read this. The body has no extra routings or something like this, which is shown on the pictures as well. Serial is 501XXX It will be shipped of course with both ashtreys and a better gigbag and of course, the bass will be packed and secured best as possible, this is important for me, as i really have a big heart for those old basses. The bass is located in germany, a pickup will garantee you a tasty coffee as well as a little basstalk, a shipping inside EU is of course no problem, a tracking id will be provided at the day the payment is done.
