I'm a bit confused as to the relationship between watts and volume with valve and solid state amps... I'm looking at the 300w valve SVT, the 450w valve/ss SVT-3PRO and the mainly SS 1000w SVT-7PRO. Can anyone compare these directly about volume and headroom etc? I'm using a Fender 2x15 bassman cab with some nice and efficient Eminence speakers.
