1. Live too, really? I was thinking the NEO Combo at home and the ABM 500 with the ABM 610 live but yea, maybe the combo and another NEO cab would do. I'll find out soon^^
  2.
I was briefly in possession of a neo 210 combo, as I was sent one in error when I ordered my cabs. Its only about 7kg heavier than the cab on its own - but that made it a little bit too hefty for me. Looked really nice tho - was a shame to send it back!
So no downside compared to the sound of the ABM 500? That would be too nice! GAS attack imminent!
  3.
I have the NEO head & all I can say is that it knocks the Little Mark Rocker & MO Mark for Six & their customer support has been excellent . At the moment I'm using it with a Barefaced 12T cab but I'm thinking of getting the NEO2x10 cab.
It would be hard not to knock the Markbass power sections, no? I think I might just have to jump in and try it. Ashdown has always been stellar in support and reliable product wise. Can't go too wrong. Thanks!
  4.
Bit of a personal question to ask on a public forum...
Only for the small minded.
  5. Hello there! I wonder if anyone had a chance to play or at least hear one of the new Ashdown ABM NEO combos? There's a 210 and a 115 version available now, along with some 210, 408 and 115 extension cabinets - All made in the UK! On paper, the ABM NEO C210 looks like the kind of thing that would work nicely at home, perhaps even on a gig (with a second cab) but what does "very special light weight power section" mean now? Does it work? Does she bang?
  6. Luckily I don't need 12 volts. I had a Markbass Compressore but 600mA at 12V is just impracticable on a pedal board. I also LOVE the tone of my EBS MultiComp so I wont go anywhere else from here.
  7. I cannot believe this thread doesn't exist already. I've got this Gretsch G6119B Broadkaster Bass with a custom black finish, custom wiring and it's strung very low: BEAD/65-130 gauge. I got this at a very nice price and I'm really happy with it. The sound and feel of this instrument is very special. It's got a natural midrange growl and a nice full, thumpy low end. Never heard something like it before. Of course it's big, huge in fact but I don't mind bending over backwards to be able to play it. I wont be found dead without this somewhere near me. What's your Gretsch bass? Whip it out!
  8. Get a JJ ECC83S - It's the best value for money tube out there IMO.

    Yo!

    lol Perfect!
  10. Yes it doesn't come cheap but considering how much money I've wasted on 9V blocks and cheaper supplies already, it might put an end to this quest! You were at the Messe? I wish I could have been there, it must be amazing. Yes, it does look sturdy and well made indeed but that doesn't tell us about it's guts, right?
  11. I'd wait a little bit longer until you can afford an Epiphone Thunderbird Classic IV Pro (Link) - I think this bass sounds astounding for the price and it even has the original Gibson TBird Pickups in them. That's a deal.
  12. Oh my God, FINALLY! The people at Cioks have heard my/our prayers for a pedal board power supply that will fit underneath the Pedaltrains Nano and Mini without the need to open up a workshop in order to make it fit! Look at that, I think it's a really neat thing. Features:

Super flat design & easy mounting
4 isolated outputs
Short circuit protection of all outlets
LED monitoring of each outlet
120 or 230V mains voltage operation
Detachable mains power cord
6 DC cables included
DC split cable included
Specifications: Outlet 1-2: 9 or 12V DC / 100mA each Outlet 3-4: 9V DC / 250mA each Size: 115x88x31mm (excl. detachable rubber feet) Weight: 0,8kg I have no experience with Cioks products whatsoever so I'm kinda curious to hear what you people say about them? Will they nicely feed my EBS pedals (which happen to be very picky when it comes to their food supply...)?
