  1. Hello ! interested in hearing about your experience with bridge selection i would like more sustain - clarity - without compromising warmth and body. thinking brass/chrome is the idea. .. about to swap out the stock bridge on my fender jaguar modern player - looking at either the schaller 4 roller, or the hipshot A (although i do believe some neck shimming imminent with the later, so, .. most likely not ..) comments? cheers mo
  2. i'm using half wounds on my Jaguar - amazing beef!
  3. Hello BASSCHAT folks ! Great to have found you ! My name is Mo Field - i suppose i'm probably one of the few female bassists on here - I live in Stockholm, Sweden - originally from Vancouver, Canada. I started out as a guitarist many years ago - but decided that aiming low was a high ambition. now it's all about bass for me. GEAR: I have 3 basses - - Fender Jaguar - modified - (love love love this beast! sounds great in my old school soul/r&b/funk/disco band!) - Ibanez SR405 - so slick to play - a great instrument, truly. - Tune (japan) 5 string. - these were amazing basses -- so unsung. will post pics later - ! Amp is a Fender TB-600 with 6x10 cab. ME: I am currently the Musical Director of a women's a cappella ensemble - Stockholm City Voices - (we are a show chorus, singing jazz, r&b, pop, contemporary a cappella and are internationally acclaimed in the competitive barbershop harmony genre.) my job - i am so incredibly fortunate to travel the world as a vocal performance coach... i love music .. i love people .. grateful i am! i also arrange and compose music for a cappella ensembles/vocalists. .. and bass player in "The Soul Providers" - (the soul/r&b/funk/disco thing mentioned earlier) been a musician all of my life. tried day jobs - mostly out of desire to earn money. didn't take. those are the pertinent facts. look forward to basschattin' with all y'all ! thanks for being here ! cheers mo
