    POG2 power

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me if im ok to use the Diago Powerstation to power my new POG2? The pedal comes with its own adaptor but warns against using any other power source. The Diago site does not list the POG2 but the voltage is only 9.6 which seems fine tho im no expert.Cheers.
  7. Hay folks.I used a number of decent batteries but have since opted to buy the Diago Powerstation which is working a treat.Really small and light.Comes in a lovely box too

    Battery life?

Hi folks.I recently bought a TC Electronics Flashback delay.I love the pedal but im confused about the number of batteries iv had to use.The one that comes with it literally lasted a few minutes then the pedal died.Im on my 7th battery so far and they are not the cheap variety. Is this a common problem with delay pedals? My Tech 21 Red Ripper lasts a lot longer. After reading about power supplies iv ordered the Diago Powerstation so hopefully the battery thing wont be a problem for much longer.Just curious to hear some feedback.Cheers.
  9. Thanks guys.That helps a lot.Cheers.
  10. I have a G&L SB2 in emerald blue with a birds eye maple neck and ebony board. It also has a pickup selector and tone control and i have to say if i was offered twice what i paid for it i would NOT sell it!! It just feels like the bass iv been waiting for
  11. Hi folks.I was reading up on the TC Blacksmith amp and am slightly confused. It is rated at 1600 watts and 4500 watts peak. Can someone tell me what this means please? Cheers.
  12. Thanks guys.I was told a brass nut makes everything sound brighter but i guess that only counts for the 4 open strings. Looking forward to getting it back and trying it anyway.
  13. I was looking for a new screensaver....not now!!
  14. Hi folks. The nut on my G&L SB2 recently broke and i am getting a new brass nut fitted.I have always loved the the sound of Spector basses which i know have brass nuts.I was just wondering if anyone had good/bad things to say about them?
  15. I was lucky enough to buy the SB2 and it is now the only bass i really play.Aside from looking great the tone for a passive bass is HUGE!! The split pickup gets used 90% of the time and within half an inch of movement from the tone control you can get a big pillowy low end or a biting tone with natural growl. The volume control seems to have an extra boost when on full and is almost like stepping on a pedal.Love it You have had some fantastic basses Keir but i think that Bolin is absolutely stunning!!
