Just got a Harley Benton Kahuna U Bass. This Thing is Fun. Sounds huge when plugged into an Amp. No sharp fret edges and the strings are all even loud, when amplified. For that money really a "no brainer"

Adrian made a Video of my Bass. I got the bass in feb 21, but the video came a week ago. The luminlays are green of course and not as mentioned blue. I've changed the Strings to Adrians Nickel Rounds, which i like much better on that bass.

Cool. I didn't knew that they made that. The only Cortbass i've had, was the Cort Arona 5. That was a great Bass too.

Oh of Course you can have the Elwood with 24 Frets. The lower Cutaway is a little bit deeper then...

I had the feel that a lot of problems with the truss rod come because it is not considered or forgotten that the truss rod works the opposite way on Maruszczyk basses.

You could use the Maruszczyk Configurator. Eyerything you're looking for is an Option there...

I Don't know about the Truss Rod Issues, but in relation to that you have to know, that on the Maruszczyk and Mensinger Basses, the Trussrod works in the opposite Direction. There is no " righty tighty - lefty loosey". The opposite is the Case 🙂

Adrians english is not the best thats true. He told me on Wednesday he gets a few hundred emails per day, from nearly all over the World. Keep in mind, that there are only he and his near family to do the whole Job. Making Couchphotos, preparing Instruments for Shipping, adusting instruments before shipping, making Videos, writing the Certificates and packages that come with the Bass...all done by Adrian, and mostly his Daughters + 1/2 further Empoyees. So Adrian answers all the emails by himself and keeps them as short as possible. You have to know him a little, to get that right. He just told me, a few minutes ago that they will do the matte metallic finishes that you asked for. So go for it. I guess he had to make a consultation with the paint guys at Mensinger in Waksmund first.

Anything else would have surprised me. You pay the british import sales tax, not the 19% german VAT. In this case, customs should not be charged additionally, or am i wrong? by the Way...10 Weeks passed today..."Patience level: falling" 🙃

I've had them on my BB425X and my Mensinger Custom Joker will come with them, when its ready. I've liked them alot. They've got lighter Tension. Not as stiff as Chromes or Fender Flats
