1. Hi all, Does anyone have any experience with the Barefaced Midget (newest or older generations)? What's it like as a cab, sound and portability wise? I basically want to get the lightest loudest cab I can which I can take on the tube etc and this looks like it may fit the bill. I play a Jazz into a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.2 head at the moment, with a Vanderkley 112MNT cab (which is small and light but not small and light enough). Thanks
2. Bump? No love for this awesome pedal?
3. Hi all, Joined the forum a few days ago and just figured I'd say hello to all you wonderful bassists out there . For any gear heads I play an MIA Fender Jazz, Bass Collection fretless jazz (90s model), Genz Benz shuttle 6.2 into a Vanderkley 112MNT (looking to change it for a barefaced midget just for convenience). Effects wise I have an MXR Compressor, Envelope Filter and Octave, a Korg Pitchblack tuner, TC Electronic Ditto X2 (and the original!) and a Demeter Bass Preamp (Currently for sale if anyone's interested). So ya, just figured I'd say hello
4. And here's another bump If I can find it I'll throw in a power supply adapter
5. Hi guys, I'm selling my Demeter preamp. Here's the blurb from the website. The model name is BEQ-PE. The BEQ-PB Bass EQ Preamp Pedal is a pedal version of our famous on board Bass EQ. It has active equalization for treble, middle and bass. The treble and bass are both shelving controls with 14dB of boost and cut @ 6dB per octave. The middle control is a peak control with plus and minus 12dB of cut and boost @ 6dB per octave. A gentle slope of 6dB per octave was chosen because the amount of phase shift is greatly reduced and the resulting sound is both more cohesive and natural with very little of the comb filtering that would normally happen with a 12dB per octave approach. The unit also has a master volume control, internal gain trimmer (with up to 9dB of gain), a battery jack usable with any regulated supply (9 to 27 volts), a bypass footswitch, and an indicator LED. The unit was first designed in 1981 and was fine tuned with the help of Alfonso Johnson, Bob Glaub and Leland Skylar. I'm looking for £125 but am open to offers - send me a PM . Paypal is welcome.
