Total Watts

1. Neither the Polytune nor the Unitune clip has been discontinued. They’re both listed on the TC web site, and are available from Anderton’s, Gear4Music and Thomann.
2. Didn’t go in to buy either, but when I saw the only EBMM Sabre I’ve ever seen in the wild in my parts, I was sold.
3. Did exactly the same thing a few years ago - my dentist is literally on the floor above a very good music shop. Went in the shop after having a root canal, and came out again with this. Ended up costing me three times as much as the root canal, but loads more fun
4. You could try SKB's own offering. It's a bit lacklustre perhaps, but it looks solid enough, and it does fit.
5.
Doesn't seem to have much space in it? ...a lead and a strap and it's full! I did buy the tick thing that attaches to the top which gives a bit more space. I do like it as a bag though... I'm considering the dual M80 as I have need of a double gigbag.
Don't know about that - mine contains strap, lead, extra string set, a foldable stand, multitool, spare 9V battery, sundry cables, string winder, and ear plugs, with room to spare.
6. The SBMM SUB is a great bass, especially for the money. Good points: crazy cheap, great build quality, superb neck, looks like a Stingray, and sounds pretty close. Bad points: preamp too hot for some, a little heavy, volume control a little abrupt.
7. Glad things worked out for you. In any case Mono are relatively specific on their website about what types of basses wil fit the Vertigo, and they do state that the headlock fits "standard width bass necks", so a better choice might be the M80, as others in this thread have said.
8. Swapping the preamp should probably be your first port of call. In addition to the excellent options already mentioned, Aguilar makes a preamp that should fit, and they make replacement MM pickups as well.
9. The standard Music Man scratch plate will not fit the SUB. The only alternative, as far as I know, is to have a custom one made.
10. Hi everyone! I'm Jakob, and I'm a newbie bass player from Oslo, Norway. I've been at it for about a year, and am enjoying myself a lot. Looking forward to spending time with you all on the forum!
