1. Hi Guys, As l won't be attending the Bass Bash this Saturday, my friend Rob, 'Rumblefish' will be bringing an amp to sell on my behalf. I have posted it somewhere on the site, but l'm advised that l have to include in the Bass Bash messages specifically. Carvin B2000 bass head. 2000 watts into 2 ohms. You can just imagine how much headroom the unit has got. Honestly, it hasn't been gigged and its done only 3 rehearsals. Fixed into a brand new flight case. Why am l selling it might ask? I've bought a Bergantino B/AMP which powers my 2 Berg' cabinets, so the Carvin is surplas to my requirements. I will say though that if l hadn't bought the Bergantino gear, the Carvin would have been my work horse. The value new of the Carvin plus flight case is around £760, but l'm asking £435. To me that's a lot of poke for your bucks... l'm not certain whether there's an amp out there as so powerful. I look forward to as many people as possible trying this amp out as l know you'll all be impressed. Cheers guys. Den
2. Hi Guys, I'm not absolutely certain whether l've successfully added my name to the list of potential attendees together with gear that l will be hopefully bringing to the Southern Bass Bash. If l do attend, it'll be after a shoulder operation tomorrow 13th September '16, so l will try. In any case, the gear l will bring is as follows :- Bergantino B/AMP and two Berg' cabs. Roscoe Custom 5 and Sire Marcus Miller V7 4 string JB plus pedal board. If l don't turn up, its because l'll be in too much pain... Cheers. Den
3.
Hi! Got this earlier this week. (Will probably do an NBD later once I sit to get it set up, but overall - no - saying that it is "almost at a boutique-bass level" is a very (very) long stretch, but once you get past some of the superficialities - yes, I'm very happy with it, both as my first-ever 5-er and as a Jazz.) Now I'm having a hard time finding a gigbag/case for it. I ordered one of the cheaper Thomann hardcases, but it's too small (will probably house my Ibanez GSR200L - fits almost perfect). My Ibanez gig-bag (where the GSR used to sit) is almost a good fit, but the opposing tuning handle is just a bit too protruding. So it's sitting in my Fender "Traditional" Gigbag which (with all due respect to the glorious Fender tradition) is an insult for almost any bass. Any ideas what to get? I'm afraid that being both lefty and having this opposing tuner is going to make this search a bit problematic... Thanks!
Check out the line and availability of Ritter gig bags. I have one and it is very large...I'm sure the company isn't anything to do with Jens Ritter the bass luthier...Best of luck. Denigar
4. Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone can help? I own a very budget Bass Collection, 'Portrait' Jaco fretless bass costing around only £400 that could sound a great deal better. I was considering buying a pair of Aguila AG 4J-Hot 'J' pickups as well as an Aguila OBP-3 pre-amp to fit therein. I'd use the 3 band EQ facility... Will that fitting be at all a serious improvement or can't you upgrade a budget bass to those specifications successfully? It would be great to get some feedback. Thank you. Den
5. Hi Mrt20, I'm currently looking for a leftie 5 string for a friend of mine. I think your Ibanez would satisfy the criteria that he would want. Is it still available? If so, please let me know as l'll hopefully be seeing him in the not too distant future... Cheers. Den'
6. Hi Guys, I'm going to attempt to turn up, but a shoulder operation on 13-9-16 might prevent me. If l do come along, l'll be bring a Bergantino B/AMP with Berg CN112 and CN210 cabinets. Also A Roscoe Century Custom 5. l feel these delights will prove popular, especially the B/AMP as its so new and groundbreaking. The bass is very pretty also. Cheers. Denigar
7.
I've got the baby version - B1000. Nice amp. In terms of bang for the buck, this is excellent value. Have a bump.
Hi Dan Dare, thanks for the supportive message regarding my B2000 for sale! Den
8. This amp has to seen and heard to be believed. 2000 watts into 2 ohms. The amount of headroom is astonishing. When played with EQ flat, the tone is full, warm and clean. This amp is only a few months old and has genuinely been rehearsed 3 times and never gigged, so the condition is pristine, basically brand new. Its fitted in an equally new flightcase. This may seem a weird move, selling it, but l've bought a Bergantino B/AMP to go wth my Berg' cabinets, so l really can't warrant keeping the Carvin. I will say that if l hadn't made the B/AMP purchase, the Carvin would have been my main gigging amp of choice for years to come. I'm new to this advert facility, so l've no idea why the attachments (Photos) are mentioned in the script!

10. I'm a very experienced and versatile bassist, playing 4, 5, and 6 string plus a bit of fretless when ballading, (if that's a word!?!). I'm in Winchester, but can and will travel. West to north Hampshire, Berkshire, and Dorset. Take a chance on me and hopefully, you'll be happy. Many genres catered for including Disco, Blues, Funk, Fusion, Soul and Prog. Cheers. Den

13. Hi Bass People, I messaged Wan stating that I was interested in this Everson Caiman T4, basically because I love the look of it! In my opinion, it's the best looking bass ever made. OK very radical, but that as well as the Bass Guitar Magazine review, made me yearn for it. Something has happened and unfortunately, I won't be buying it which has upset me! I think all should know that the RRP has gone up to over £1700 which is still a steal. I think it should be double that. Anyone who buys this will have an amazing investment together with a great bass to savour for life. Den
14. Hi Wan, If £1100 isn't enough, I can stretch to a bit more, perhaps £1150. I hope that will suffice. Cheers. Den
15. Hi Wan, I'm interested in this bass. I'll come up with £1100 for it if you agree. Please let me know either way. (email:- "][email protected] ). Cheer mate Regards Den
