1. And another one. 2. This is a precision bass bridge from the same year. http://www.ebay.com/...s-/222306968708
3. I used to have a Lakland 55-02 and it was pretty awesome. Neck was just great. Stingray 5 necks are too narrow and strings are too close to the edge of the neck for me. And I was never so impressed with their sound, IMO of course. However, I bought MTD Kingston AG5, and it's on totally different level. I still can't believe how good that bass is.
4. They are amazing basses. However, I can't help thinking that if your post was about p or j bass you would get like 50 responses so far.
5. I agree, it is quite amazing. I can't even imagine how good is the US made one.
6. Now with a new bridge and custom made knobs.
7. There is one US made for sale in Australia. http://ozbassforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=21162
8. I installed Nordstrands in my 55-02, and kept LH3 pre. IMO the sound is exactly what you are looking for.
9. He also played Ibanez Musician and I remember white Spector that he played during Synchronicity tour.
10. No, it was a private sale here in Australia.
11. http://www.ebay.com....P4AAOSwmLlX8oWE It's in Germany and a bit pricey IMO.
12. It looks like nobody knows. Well I found out, it's 6mm. Just in the case someone else would like to know.
13. Japanese Bacchus gets a lot of positive reviews. And they look amazing too.
14. I just got this bass and it's nothing short of amazing. It is so light and perfect in every way. Bartolini did a great job on pre and pickups they put in these. Clarity, definition, it's all there, and neck is the best I ever encountered.
15. Just a quick question. What size are MTD Kingston knobs, 6mm or 1/4? Thanks.
