2.
Greetings Joboy. welcome to Basschat. You may like to know that you can advertise basses for sale on BC, but blatant plugs of your ebay ad are not permitted. GLWTS.
Thanks for the heads up, I just got a private message about that. Will remove link, though was informed it's ok to just say it's on there. Of course I'd prefer to make the sale directly on here anyway Cheers, John
 3. Hi guys! Due to personal circumstances, regretfully parting with this bass, hoping to make a quick sale, so price has been dropped from where I had it. I hope the conversion worked correctly and I have written the right price in there (3,450 AUD) (I'm in Australia) The ad description appears on Ebay Australia as below. Feel free to make a reasonable offer. This is a beautiful bass. Stunning Warwick Streamer Stage I, German-made bass guitar. 1995 Model. This bass is a staple in the Warwick line-up. Beautiful neck-through instrument, punchy, crystal clear tone and glassy highs, with a sweet top end. This bass has been very well loved. Has only a few belt-buckle marks on the back, and very minor wear on the tuning pegs and bridge. A little wear and on the pickup edge where the thumb rests and indentation on the neck pickup, again just from where the thumb rests. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines soapbars, with a Seymour Duncan Pre-amp, which compliments the tone beautifully. Control knobs are not stock, but I have the original gold knobs which I can provide with the bass if needed. (They had to be switched as they did not fit the new pre amp pots). I can't speak highly enough of this instrument, brand new it still retails at almost double the price I'm selling it for. Due to needing extra funds because of family circumstances, I've decided I'll put it on the market, and will sell to the right buyer. *Note: The truss rod on this bass is almost at the end of its thread, due to there still having been some relief in the neck, I had one of Australia's best luthiers' slightly plane the fingerboard down on the body end of the bass. This means that the bass plays beautifully, and the setup is perfect. Easy, low action, fairly straight neck. Sounds brilliant with a fresh set of strings! *Although I already have the bass at a low price, I am still happy to accept reasonable offers, as I am willing to work with anyone who is keen to purchase and see it gets a good home!
 4.
Good afternoon, John, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. I've a friend in Australia; do you know him..?
Thanks very much! Haha yes I love that question I just like to tell my friends "I have a mate on a land mass somewhere.. you may have heard of him..." All the best! J
 5. Hi guys! Just a brief intro.. I only just joined up with these forums, to be part of a larger bass community, and also because I have 2 beloved Warwick basses I wanted to post on here and see if any fellow bass brothers or sisters from around the world would like to buy them In short, I am a Professional Freelance/Session musician here in Melbourne, Australia. I have had the privilege to work and tour with some great artists here in this country, from local singers and songwriters to well known acts and shows that tour the country. On occasion I have also recorded with artists from around the world who have come to Australia to record their projects. Like most of us, my time is split between some regular 'bread and butter' gigs, corporate work, Weddings, working and touring with Artists, and the occasional tribute show, as well as being blessed to regularly work with some of Australia's top-call players, not to mention a few tv celebs sprinkled in here and there! I will have a web-site back up in the coming weeks with a proper bio and more info. Not sure what else to write, my main gear is a Mark Bass 4x10 rear-ported cab, paired with a MarkBass F1 head. Basses I currently use are a Sadowsky Metro-5 as a main workhorse, a Warwick Streamer Stage I 6 NT, and a Warwick NT Thumb bass 6. Anyway, hope you're all having a great day.. will put up some posts about the basses for sale soon also Many thanks, John
