Hi from possibly the oldest newbee! I started playing bass approx. 23 years ago. I stared by feeling I was watching too much tv, and wasn't learning anything. So, I went to Brum and bought an Aria 4 string. A year later, as I was having so much fun, I bought what I'm playing now; a Status Grapite 5 string and a Laney 300 watt stack (2x10, 2x15 cabs). I am now getting more serious about becoming a bass player and am teaching myself to read music. And, more importantly, practicing every chance I can!
