  7. I must say the Modulus is a fine instrument. I´ve tried four or five Flea basses. They all had the punch. I feel that the JJ Bartolini setup here adds a whole new dimension as far as versatility goes. Would love to keep her, but I guess one has to go for a new to arrive.
  8. Near mint Modulus Flea 5 jazz Produced in 2008. Serial # 080001 Purchased new through Modulus dealer in Norway. A very versatile instrument. Alder body, olympic white (or similar) paint. Bolt on composite neck, glossy. Compound radius neck profile, slimmer high up on the neck. Pretty sleek, but not too thin Phenolic fingerboard and nut Truss rod. 34" scale 17,5mm string spacing Chrome hardware, dunlop straplocking Bartolini pickups, 18v Bartolini NTBT preamp JJ brings more versatility than MM on the Fleas in my opinion. Bartolini is a real good thing in this composite based instrument. I love the honk and focus provided by favouring the bridge PU. If the neck pickup is favoured, it´s a massive round tone that due to the resonant neck sounds almost like an EUB. And then everything in between. Instrument is in very good condition. I don´t really like to use the word mint, since mint is rare to find in used instruments. A close inspection(5-10 cm) shows a few scratches on the upper horn, some slaphand rash on the pickguard. Hard or impossible to get on photo. Very small paint chip on one of the neck bolt screw area, shown in pic Easily touched up if wanted. Some light scratches surrounding it, also seen on the picture. Suppose it is from belt buckle. This is the paint detailer in me talking. You have to look hard and close to see these flaws. Frets, hardware and electronics are like new. According to my kitchen scale, she weighs in at around 4,3 kg. Original Modulus hardcase with Modulus logo. Case shows use like it should, but is in good order. Very stable instrument. I live in the arctic, which can give instruments some challenge with temperature span. Tuners are mostly used when strings are fresh I´ve gotten a price estimate from DHL on around £170 for shipping to the UK. Shipping is not included. I´d like to get a new quote from them once I have a specific address. Instrument is also advertised locally. Will ship in hardcase with cartboard wrapping. Documents from Modulus are included. Price is hard to decide, and negotiable. Let me know what you think. Modulus as we know it are over, the way I see it. That makes me want to hold on to this, but may also mean someone wants to take care of it for me. Guess we´ll find out. Feel free to post comments and questions at will. Trades are possible; Spector USA, Pedulla, Mike Lull, Fodera std. Preferably a wide string spacing bass. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have an instrument you think i may be interrested in. Have a nice day!
