Hello,
I'm Nicky. I'm french and I live in Paris.
So I apologise for my poor english and my spelling mistakes!
I've been playing bass for 6 years (I'm 33-years-old).
I had played in a band for one year. It was a rock cover band (Eric Clapton, The Beatles, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc...)
I have 3 basses (sorry for the quality of the photo)
In chronological order (from left to right)
1) Fender Jazz Bass New American Standard
I bought it new in 2009.
- Alder body
- Maple fingerboard
- 3-color Sunburst
2) Fender Precision
It's a second-hand bass. I bought it in 2013.
The former owner bought it in poor condition. The body and the neck date from 1978. A instrument maker restored it.
- Ash body (it's very heavy)
- Rosewood fingerboard
- Delano pickup(neck and bridge)
- Natural color
3) Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Gold Top Dusty Hill
It's a second-hand bass. I bought it in 2014.
- Okume body (very very light)
- Maple fingerboard
- Seymour Duncan stacked P Bass pickup
At home, I have two KRK Rokit 6 G2 monitor speakers and I use Ableton Live 8 to record.
I also use a EBS ValveDrive DI to "warm" the sound.
I think that's all for now!
If you have any questions, I will be delighted to answer you!
Nicky
