Hi, I bought this pickup for a bass building project which I have now abandoned. Other than a quick test run it's unused. This is a special pickup in that it is a Dingwall design but adapted by Nordstrand for parallel fret basses. It is a staggered twin coil humbucker (a la P. Bass) in a soap bar style casing. See this link to Nordstrand's site for further info and dimensions. (This one is to Bartolini dimensions). Can't comment on the Bassbone OD, but I've been using Bassbone V2 for a while now and it's a great piece of kit. Does the job very well, balancing electric and double bass perfectly. The loop feature really helps, and along with the tuner output gets loads of junk out of the direct signal path. Also the low end filter on the DB channel is very effective. Seems very tough too. Hi there. I'm a newbie to this forum, so be nice to me please! I have reluctantly decided to sell my Trace Eliot V4 1 x 15 Combo. It has had very little use, just a little recording work and maybe 1 gig. It is in excellent all round condition, and comes with a cover. One of the best, possibly [u]the[/u] best bass amp I've ever owned. Really warm, punchy and versatile. I've owned it from new. Q. Why am I selling? A. I'm getting on a bit and it's just too heavy for me! My little Markbass rigs get the job done and weigh next to nothing. But for someone who doesn't like the word "compromise", this is a great piece of equipment. It would be a real shame to leave this combo in storage where it will eventually deteriorate, so I would like to see it put to good use. Please reply for more details and/or offers in excess of £750.
