1. Hi there I´m Chris from germany and a huge esh...well...maniac! Since i started out a very successful thread over at "bassic.de", the biggest bassist community over here in Germany, i thought it might be a good idea to find more fellow esh enthusiasts in the bigger bass related forums around....basschat being one of them amongst talkbass and what not When i started playing bass i first had a 4-String Ibanez, but when i heard the esh Sovereign of a friend of mine i was blown away by the sound that i instantly wanted to have one myself! And so after a year i bought my first own esh bass. That´s the short story and i don´t want to bore you with the details Since then (like 5 1/2 years ago) i became real passionate about the esh brand and i gathered a lot of information....and basses of course But since i´m still looking for more input on esh basses, it would be nice to hear your stories. Do you have an esh bass? Since when? Show your esh basses! I would like to use this thread as a source of all kind of information regarding esh basses. As you will find out in the process of this thread, i really gathered a lot ( also "long lost" informations ) about my favorite bass guitars that i´d like to share. First of all, and that´s what is kind of an ongoing rumor on talkbass.....esh isn´t dead....the brand is very much alive! I will update this source posting as much as i can and try to fill it with all kind of basic informations about esh basses, just like electronics descriptions, all the models throughout the years and what not. As i said, i´m a real maniac about esh. Evidence: A good friend of mine and i, own the biggest collection of esh basses (in germany....as far as we know ) Those are basses from the early beginning, 1987 through every era of the company until 2017. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Basic Information: Sound Controls: Older "Eshtronic" circuit Modern "Eshtronic" circuit Looking forward to read about your basses. I will show some details about our collection, soon It you have questions about any esh instrument, just ask! I definitely might know something about it To be continued... Best regards, Ens
