Yep, that's a fair description of the M2000. It's definitely a more modern (hi-fi) sounding bass than classic tone. DR Sunbeams work quite well on it (mellow the tone) if you can deal with the lower tension string. Definitely don't want Dunlop Super Bright nickels on it. (I made that mistake. LOL)

Ibanez Talman TMB100-WNF Walnut Natural Flat. £60. Must be collected (without delay) from SE London. No shipping. Very good condition. Only point to note.... Minor finish blem shown in last picture. (Was touched-in with a green coloured felt pen. Difficult to photo, not really noticeable. Was there when I bought it, I think from truss-rod hex wrench rattling around in box during shipping.) I'll be posting an ad for this to Gumtree, ebay or somewhere similar if this doesn't get any interest on here in the next 24 hours. Really do need to get this moved by the end of the weekend. -

Epiphone Toby Deluxe Trans Red. £50. Must be collected (without delay) from SE London. No shipping. Very good condition. Only points to note.... Neck pickup - the Tobias "gold leaf" label has work off the plastic cover where it's been used as thumb rest while playing. Body - satin finish, but is shiny in a couple of places where arm has rubbed body while playing it. I'll add one thing.... A warning on weight.... Both of the Zodiac BXP DE Sig models I've bought were slightly on the heavy side at 10.5 lb. That aside, nice bass when you can pick them up for less than £200. (I paid £150 each, for both of mine.) -

LOL. I think it would have been OK without! That's sooooo crazy. 15 slices of wood!!!! Someone will pop up in a minute and tell you..... You're not hearing the sound of wood. All that glue holding those 15 slices of wood together. THAT BASS SOUNDS LIKE GLUE!!!! People freak out when they buy a Mex Fender and the body is made of more than 2 pieces. A 15 piece neck..... You must be mad, mate! That's plywood, that is. Fancy plywood!
