Take your pick as I only play the maple neck Fender P now.

I had the BBG5 of which is very similar to the N5 and thought is was excellent. The TRB style soap bars work for me on many levels, tone, clarity and growl but they are place perfectly for my finger playing. I miss my TRB5 mk1, the single best 5 string ever! If a BBG4 then you'll love it, if it's the BB1300, that'll will be something else

I'll guess from Japan or maybe Tiaiwan.

If helps, regretted selling my BB1600 too, huge mistake but them’s the breaks unfortunately.

I relocated said nippy rear strap button to a more suitable place for me. I love practicing with the Spector as is so easy to play when sitting down but not so great standing up at rehearsals.

You know, this thread could end up being a goldmine for folks thinking about getting a custom bass built for them. So much to think about especially getting the nippy thing just right.
