  1. Bridge pup from a Standard series bass (I believe USA and MIM used the same, 048613 on the bobbin). Pickguard might be from a Player series bass, not sure, but it's free with the pup if you want it.
  2. These are just bits in a box, happy to sell the lot together or offer me on individual bits if you like. ***sold*** Fender USA pure vintage bridge, came on a bass and I swapped it out. £35 posted? Bridge pup from a Standard series bass (think USA and MIM used the same, 048613 on the bobbin). £20? Pickguard also came with, might be from a Player series bass, not sure. Happy to give away if you buy the pup.
  3. Also, these are the pups which an image search tells me are Duncans but no actual text on the subject so not sure how Google has come to that conclusion...
  4. I've commented this exact same thing on an older thread but thought I'd copy it in here as it's newer. Zombie thread! I love my MIJ Mustang. If I had to be picky, the tuners are a bit clunky. That's it. I want to get another for one with flats, one with rounds. Looking at the USA with the J pup for rounds, flats on the MIJ. I've played the USA, it plays just fine and feels similar enough to the MIJ. EVERYBODY goes on about the JMJ, though. He is one of my favourite players, too, but I don't want the relic job, but! The sound of the chunkier neck is appealing. I usually play a P but am transitioning to shortys for those festivals and the like where there is no time to warm up. Also, because it makes me look less small onstage 😅 Any objective opinions on this? My MIJ sounds great with flats and rounds. Feels great, plays great. Am I really going to have a life changing experience with the JMJ or will I be fine, just fine, with the USA alongside the MIJ? Thanks!

  6. I could also be interested in a part ex for an AG700/TH700
  7. According to Fender, rolls off highs without increasing bass/muddiness

  9. About 4.5kg and KT12, just outside of Kingston
  10. Irish guy with watermelons, I'm assuming we're on the same page 😊✊ For anyone interested, the stickers do come off and I intend to keep them.
  11. Gauging interest to potentially fund a Mod Shop order! I'd imagine £1300 for the American Pro/£900 for the P. Am Pro is roasted maple neck and board, ltd ed from 2019. It's my main gigger/recorder, I love it, I don't want to sell it but I'd be getting essentially the same with RW board, just paying twice 🥴 I've owned it from new. Sunny (Transparent Sunset Orange) is the backup bass, S1 switch (whether or not you think that's pointless on a P is a moot point, it works if you want softer/clearer for upper register chords and what not). It's a classic P and it's pretty. What can I say. Both are all original, only one would go. Well, ideally I'd have all and everything but you know how it is. Both are player grade with little dings and scratches. If interested, DM me for all the details. Just posting quickly before heading out for a gig. Basically want a rosewood board with block inlays on the Daphne and Mod Shop is the only way to get it, apparently.
  12. Viewings welcome! Not getting the love it deserves so seeing if any interest. Don't know if £1500 is realistic but that's less than I've seen others listed for elsewhere. Happy to hear your offers on what you think is fair. Comes with the original hardcase and black pickguard, unopened polish cloth and case key, extra red tort and white pearl guards. Trade/Part ex interest: US Fender with rw neck and block inlays Lakland PJ JMJ/American Performer Mustang Lovely Jazz/PJ with J neck Aguilar AG/TH700 3
  13. Had to put this at auction on ebay if anyone was interested
  14. Currently wearing some regular slinkys but also has a set of Rotosound tapewounds
