  1. No worries, just spreading the joy! Here's a bonus one... I did say I could go on!
  2. Great video, Greg! Nathan East was my original bass hero. Here's a few underappreciated/unseranalysed moments you might like: This Clapton live album is great all the way through but Bell Bottom Blues into Change the World is full of beautiful bass moments (and Billy Preston wailing over the top as well!) This live version of Easy Lover is pretty straight, but there's a moment at 2.53 where he changes it up and another at 4.30 where he straightens up the groove and it's so cool. Daryl Steurmer's solo is ace too. Finally, this is a recent release - the change in bassline at 2.50 is awesome. I could go on... but thanks again for the transcription and I hope there's something here you'll enjoy.
  3. This has now been sold! Took a while, but it's gone to a good home. Sob!
  4. Just think how great it would be to have two... 😀
  5. Yeah, but it's been there for a long time! Doubt they would want a second one 🙂 Thanks, though.
  6. Price cut! Would make great Xmas present for young bass players needing their first "serious" amplifier. Will consider any reasonable offer...
  7. @itsmedunc Yes, you really should! :-D Giving this a bit of a bump for a Monday morning... And yes, it comes with castors. Mine lives downstairs too - every living room needs one...
  8. Hi Mykolas, Sorry, completely missed this. I'm pretty sure it's 8 Ohms. Cheers, Andrew
  9. Hi, I've got an Eden Metro Combo that I need to sell mainly due to house space reasons. It's had a pretty easy life and in decent condition. I bought it new in 2002 or thereabouts but it's probably done fewer than 100 gigs. As you'd expect, it sounds amazing but I just don't use it enough to justify the floorspace it takes up. Any sensible offers considered. It lives in East London - collection is probably best, though I might be able to meet you part-way if you're coming a long way for it. I'm occasionally up in the Birmingham area for personal reasons if that's better for you. Cheers, Andrew
  10. I'm reluctantly considering selling my virtually complete set of Bass Player magazines - I got the set back to issue 1 on Ebay about ten years' ago for about £300 and have had a subscription ever since. I think some of the later copies may have gone missing but I haven't done an audit recently. There's loads of cool stuff in there but I definitely don't make full use of it and it's taking up a whole load of space which my wife looks pointedly at from time-to-time... Anyway, I'll consider any reasonable offers (although I may find the wrench too great!) I may throw in some old copies of Bassist from the 90s / early 00s as well. Clearing out is hard to do... Let me know what y'all think! Cheers, Andrew
