  1. Thought I'd change the pickguard on my Dakota Red P, really happy with how it's turned out.
  2. Theatre of Hats The Why Sick Sonic Eddie and the Hot Sods Echo and the Funnymen None Below Zero Ocean Colour Scone
  3. It's my pleasure chaps, I'm really happy that so many on this great forum have taken advantage of the offer and are as happy with their bass as I am 👍
  4. I would've preferred the blonde but saw the Jonny Dibble review prior to purchase so didn't want to risk it. I'm pleased to say I'm very happy with my dakota red P and also happy for the guys who ordered the blonde and got a good one. They really are great basses 👍
  5. Do you think as OP of this thread Thomann may give me some freebies if I send them a link ? 🤔🤣
  6. Really liking the tort, bet it looks great with the Squier neck too 👍
  7. Mine arrived today too, I'm also super happy with it. It's set up really well, if a touch too high for me but I'll give it a fettle tomorrow. I have to say I think it looks superb, the vintage tinted neck is very classy as is the satin finish on the body. The sound is everything I'd hoped for with tons of sustain. I'm particularly impressed with how progressive the tone control is, small adjustments give really discernable change. It'll soon be strung with flats with the addition of a tug bar and maybe a bridge cover to complete the retro vibe. I'd have been over the moon with this bass at full rrp but for £259 it's incredible!
  8. Only a gold anodised pickguard on the dakota red and vintage blonde models, easy change 👍
