1. It sounds great! The pedal nails Stu Brooks tone from his latest Dub Trio album Another Sound is Dying quite perfectly. Excellent tone, playing and insane riffs and song on that album!

New DHA pedal

Thank Dave, can the pedal be without the 'splash paint'? I'm not a big fan of that... :-) Bart

New DHA pedal

Beautiful pedal! How are they with headphones? I'd love to order one. How much do they sell for these days?
4.
I am currently using a Matamp Minimat in the house (small head - 4 watts which scales down to about 1/4 watts if necessary) and I gigged on Saturday night with my Mesa Express 5:50 switched to 5 watts - it was still too loud!
Hi, how does that Matamp Minimat sound for bass guitar? Enough low end? thanks, Bart
5. SWEET! My dream amp; the only amp I would consider trading my Trace Elliot V8 for...
6.
Here is my baby Trace elliot V-Type.
Sweet, how's that EBS valve drive through that V6? Bart
7.
The internal fuses which sit on the output valve board, were a problem with the amp, they were only fitted due to some EU safety laws, so I was told. They were modded through the production, but the last evolution was to remove them and hard wire the connection, mine has this mod and I think the man himself did the work.
Hey, care to elaborate a bit about those fuses? My V8 had fuse issues a couple of years ago. It blew one of the power tube fuse holders plus some circuit board component (resistor or something). I'd like my V8 to be more reliable. Bart
8. Indeed, it's not my V8. :-) That 8x10 he's selling is even more rare than the V8 in my opinion. You never see them for sale.
9. Great amp. Even more rare than the V8, I think. I'd want want next to my V8. Or trace my V8 for it even...
10. Great video about it by Ed Friedland. http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=p6kjd6GyvLc
11. Hi all, cool to see that many V8's. Here's my beloved stack (I can't believe it's been over a year since I played or heard it). V8-owners: send me an e-mail at my website http://www.trace-elliot-v8.com I'm trying to locate you all!!
12. I'd love a trade for this Trace Elliot... Who has one?
13. God heavenly sweet Precision+Pick sounds from Nick Oliveri and the Queens of the Stone Age. http://youtube.com/watch?v=6Dy56iQd6Jg (No One Knows, live acoustic, bass sound mixed in really loud!) http://youtube.com/watch?v=grw5AT5kq0c&feature=related (Hangin' Tree, ditto) http://youtube.com/watch?v=_dTBOd4PEHs This is the ULTIMATE TONE for me ... (Mexicola, one of the fattest bass intro's!)
