1. Any of you guys who own the 5 strings interested in selling? cheers
2. That fretless jazzbasstard you sold me was great, wish I still had that.
3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
4. Got no money and got no job so jamming my sexy bass WOOHOO https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRdG1XmjUQ5-TxpCa_aFvjQ
5. Sorry I don't know how Mods? Anyone? Help!! Can't have the corridors of basschat heights echoing with mutters of my ineptitude
6. better late than never - nearly 5 whole years ago John bought my stingray - still got it John? Cracking bass that was. John arrived on time was clean and smartly presented and good banter as well. To top it all off the bank notes were the genuine article with not one forgery. If buying the bass were a job interview, I would have sent all the other applicants home. Deal with confidence.
7. better late than never eh!? Good guy all round, straight forwards and a cracking little amp thats still going strong 4 years on. Cheers Steve
8. This tech stuff is over my head. I just play bass. Bump for weekend price drop - £1,336 Whats that, it's not the weekend - sorry guys it is for me, Friday night here. I get about a bit with work and that. I am based in Manchester but can personally deliver this bass to Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Surrey, Edinburgh or anywhere in between, M1, M6, M40 corridors. Even Glasgow. This would be on specific dates between now and the 7th August. If I still have this bass on the 7th August I'm taking it back to Overwater and Chris will kindly sell it to you with a commission on top, so don't be shy
9.
Lovely bass. I happen to know that Scott's version of this is passive, although it still has a battery compartment. Scott doesn't like an Active bass but Chris insisted on doing it with the compartment in case Scott changes his mind. What I'm getting to, slowly, is; is this active or passive? Just curious.
Thank you for your question sir. This is indeed a very good question and one that is news to me. Chris is a very smart guy. There is indeed a battery compartment in the back of this bass, with a single 9V battery inside. Without this battery the bass doesn't work, so my conclusion in a rambling, round about sort of way, is that this is indeed an absolutely active bass =) We're wasted on bass playing. I'm off to become an author
10. Bump for your slow and boring Monday morning offers Stuck in the office? Friday seem a millennium away? Fret no more, the answer to your prayers is here
11. Nice one - might be interested in trades including small bass rigs such as 4x10 + head, good effects (octave, envelope filter, overdrive) etc - try me! Cheers
12. cheers hammeron for the bump - here's another for some bad(ass) jamming with some bad audio - enjoy (I did) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo3idGD-6yQ
13. I've spoken to chris, he said it would be £2200 or there abouts for the 5 string of this, 34" scale. He offered me a generous part ex on this against it. Whilst I am sorely tempted I have seen something I rather fancy and would like to free up some cash. My mrs doesn't even know I have this bass. And if yours is natural finish I doubt she would even notice the difference if she is anything like mine!!!!!
