Total Watts

1. Are these made in Korea or Indonesia?
2. It's not necessary to have a dedicated interface, you can easily use one of the iRig or Jamup plug to hook up your pod into and record. Bear in mind they're not the most neutral sounding things in the world and tends to be quite susceptible to noise, I find they work better with a preamp of some sort than going directly from instrument. Would recommend you getting a Line6 sonicport or an iRig HD which gives you really good results for around 60 quid. If you need the absolute best quality then buy a class compliant soundcard like an apogee or RME and a camera connection kit.
3.
Both of the above and anywhere in between. Measure the amp's maximum output RMS voltage swing into the rated load at the rated THD and that's 'RMS' watts. The watts aren't RMS, the voltage swing is.
I think RandomBass was confused about specs from ampeg manual, the units used are confusing. "2 x 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms (600 watts continuous), 3% THD" I don't know how they got the 900 watts rms value but pretty sure it's electrically irrelevant as the real/apparent power of the amp is way less than that. I'm guessing the continuous power IS the average power.
4. Bought a Darkglass B7K from greeneking. An absolute gentleman to deal with. Everything was as described and fast shipping.

8. I have an RG1077XL for sale. The guitar is practically new with less than 20 hours total playing since I've bought it 2 years ago from new. It comes with an Ibanez hard case. Sadly this guitar had been knocked around a bit before I bought it and there are a few minor chips to the paint on the sides of the rear. However they are very minor (the wood isn't exposed) and is purely cosmetic. There is minimal fret wear and theres no discolouration of the trem. Electronics are working perfectly too with stock setup and pickups. I have to admit this was an impulse purchase at the time as I'm not very fond of 7 string guitars. Hopefully this baby can find a suitable home whether its an RG colletor or someone who can put it to good use. I'm looking for £425+p&p. I currently live in London and I would be happy for you to come try it before you buy. I'm not too keen on trading but I'd be happy to trade for a Jap Fender Jazz Bass or maybe even a mexican jazz + cash. I've attached some pictures. I'll try take some more over the next few days as some of the closeup are very blurry.
9. Thanks for the replies, I was wondering if I bought a squier, fender parts should retrofit right? Man its tough choosing a jazz bass as it is, now i have lakland to consider. I think I'm tending towards the squier though. I don't see alot of the classic vibe for sale though, mostly only the vintage modified, is the classic vibe just less popular or something?
10. Howdy, I'm a guitarist looking to buy a bass guitar. I've previously purchased a bass guitar before (5 string LTD) but it wasn't what I was looking for and I ended up selling it. I'm looking to buy an all round bass and something that looks good and affordable. I've narrowed it down to a jazz bass and a budget of 450 absolutely max. I've found an ok squier classic vibe for just under 250 quid but I was just curious if I should buy something a little better, say a used jap jazz. But I don't want to end up spending alot of upgrades if I can just buy a great bass with minimal tweakage. I'm also looking for a bass preamp for recording, preferably something good quality and not too expensive. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them Thanks for you time
