2. Hey, it's the one I sold you in Leyland Dunc! Tempted to buy it back actually, bloody decent tone for te money and much nicer shape to the neck than the other copies like Hondo. Here's a link to this guitar being played badly by me: http://youtu.be/pB5zHmfTkXU
3.
I've used a blow lamp. Job done in 30 mins.
Seconded ALTHOUGH this works on some finishes and not on others. I once stripped a 70s Columbus jazz in a similar time but an unidentified PBass body didn't respond to this treatment. The route I normally take is heat gun/nitro moors/belt sander until one works! Ps: it's better to fully strip the current finish. Never cut corners when refinishing IMHO , regardless of how much the basic body cost. You can make a cheap body look a custom shop job with lots of prep Pps: let's see some pics!
4. Lovely mate! That's awesome. Very brave colours but it looks really tasteful to me. Glad you went for an oil/stain finish.
5. For me, there were clear differences in tone, however, none sounded particularly 'better' than the other. The Jazzes especially, all sounded like good quality basses.

7. I have a set of 84s in my Jazz and I since installing them the tone of the bass is as good as anything I've played. I'm a bit gutted I didn't get to order any guitar pickups.
8.
Hah, just about to recommend yours, the Boss BF2 is the best in my view.
Absolutely!
9. Well personally I think the best use of flanger and bass guitar is Tool's Chancellor and he uses a standard Boss BF2 flanger designed for guitar. In answer to your question, no you don't need a 'bass' flanger. In fact, I don't know if any exist. FYI, I'm selling my boss Bf2 in the BC for sale ads. Check it out
10. No worries mate. The pedal is in excellent condition despite its age.
11. Well I've had it from new and icant remember it ever working from the battery. I don't think the pedal is failing, the battery connection simply doesn't work and to my knowledge never has. Cheers for the interest.
12. Bump. This runs on the standard 9 volt boss style adapter by the way. Cheers
