1. Feel free to end me a spec and I'll give you a rough costing..
2. Thank you 4000, cheque's in the post..
3.
This from the GBBL website... Fortunately it seems to have sold...
Hi, Drew at GBBL has commissioned me to build another one similar to this, should be finished by the end of summer
4. Just to let you know, Everson guitars will be at the show - I'm piggy backing on the Promenade Music stand and will likely have four or five instruments. Paul.
5. Hi there - just a note about the above bass for sale - the pickup is actually an EMG 35P ( unless it's been changed of course) and the bridge is a Hipshot model. Cheers. Paul
6. Ah ok - the bass could live without that - if memory serves it's not glued or screwed down - but I can make a new one if needed Paul
7. Hi all Just to say that whoever buys the bass if they post me the split surround ( sounds like it's the scratch plate) then I'll repair it free of charge - get in touch here or email me on [email protected] Bargain at £450 btw - almost tempted to buy it back myself - if anyone wants any further info on the Bass drop me a line, I think I may even have some in construction pics somewhere Regards Paul
8. I'm similar actually, my own bass is a fair bit tighter. Feel free to email me with a specification and I'll work you out a quote Cheers Paul
9. hi there, it's 19mm. Paul PS. I'm at the Leeds guitar show on the 9th Sept - very pregnant wife willing, and I'll have the bass with me if anyone is coming and wants to try it..(assuming I haven't sold it by then)
10. Hello simes, thanks for the kind words - I've just posted a video of the bass you mention in your post, thought you may like to see it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j9VYMJcZF0&feature=youtu.be You'll also find some pictures and more info if you find the bass on ebay. Cheers Paul
11. Hi The bass on the site was the first bass I tried using cherry - it works really well as a body wood and I'm planning to use it more- It's similar to walnut in density and working characteristics and a nice alternative to ash if you're after a paler wood. Oh and the 4lb claim on that page is a mistake, not quite that light but it was under 8lb! Paul
12. Hi All You're quite right, 4lbs is a missprint, only just spotted the mistake myself. It is a very light bass though but I can't rememeber it's actual weight. Will ammend the site asap Paul
That is pretty amazing (if true) a boon to all the back sufferers - my Overwater perception comes in at 6.5lbs and its tiny At the other end of the scale(s) there is a Ricky 4030 hamburger on eBay and guy says its 14lbs!!! They Eversons do look cracking though. BB
13. Hi there A few months ago I posted the first of these new basses (in cherry with a maple board), here is the second - hot off the workbench. It features.. English Walnut body Maple neck with Rosewood board Kent Armstrong Circuit and Pickup ( Vol/Top/Mid/Bottom and 3 way Series/Parallel/Split switch ) Rosewood jack socket plate, head inlay and scratchplate( 3 ply scratchplate of rosewood, walnut, black stained sycamore), mahogany control cavity cover. MOP logo inlay and side dots 34" Scale 16" Radius 24 large frets including zero fret (graphtec nut) Deep Set Bolt-on neck Schaller Bridge and Kluson tuners Dunlop strap locks Finished in oil and wax Tone wise it's a more traditional sounding bass than some of my others, warm with strong mids, but with enough highs to give a good slap tone and a surprising range of sounds from the single humbucker via the coil options. This bass is for sale, do get in touch for more info all the best Paul
14. Just to let people know, the website is finished now, all the links should be working, including the for sale section and the blog - where you can find out whats new, basses in progress, and other tit bits Paul
