1. I'll need to check, I don't really have scale at home though. Will get back to you.
2. Up for sale is my 2007 Lakland Skyline DJ4. It was one of the last ones to leave the Korean factory. The bass was part of a limited run of basses based on Adam Clayton's similar-looking bass back then. Only a few came factory installed with the Chi-Sonic pick-ups. The body is one of the prettiest ones I have seen on a natural skyline model and consists out of 2 pieces that are very well matched. The overall condition is great with no dings or visible scratches that I'm aware off. Why selling? I would like to get one of the new Lakland Jsonics with a rosewood board since I currently have 2 jazz basses with maple fingerboards. Only trade that I would consider is a Lakland Skyline 44-60/DJ4 with rosewood fingerboard with or without Chi-Sonics. I'm located in Copenhagen, but willing to send in all over Europe! Feedback for Magee

And I bought the Little Bastard off Matthew Great guy to deal with and very smooth international delivery at a nice price to Denmark, Greets, Matthias
4. The VM is far from original at this point and upgrades include: -Lakland/Hanson Chi Sonic Pick ups -CTS pots of which one push/pull for series/parallel -Orange drop -New control plate+knobs -switchcraft jack -Gotoh 201 bridge -Fender Decal and neckplate Price for this one would be around £400 I think. The upgrades make this price well justified and it has been mistaken a real 7ender on many occasions, until they saw the pick-ups. The Squier deluxe V is totally basic and I'd be asking £200 for that one:
5. Carbon Fiber neck with 2bands Active EQ and handmade in America. Nails the flea-tone perfectly. It's probably one of the lightest basses I ever had and it has loads of sustain. Needs to go because I want to buy a another 5-string. In a very good state. As for price, I'm looking around £1000, which seems a fair for such a bass. Pick-up in London preferred and it'll come with a gigbag. For further questions, just ask.
6.
Anyone interested in what I used for sounds on certain sections etc just ask. On the dispute of Octave pedals which has gone on a fair bit during this thread, each track uses my OC-2 set to Octave-1 at full and Octave-2 and dry off (So just a pure Octave down) on all 3 tracks start to finish. Shep
I really, really enjoyed your sound on the "Get Money!" track. How did you make that bass sound?
7.
looking at the demo http://www.hexeguitar.com/pedals-bitcrush_e , it looks like it wants to be one of my favourite pedals too. now where do i get one ?
Brother of a friend mine is making it. Hasn't got any website, but it's basicly based on the Moog LPF.
8.
I want that Hexe Bitcrusher!
It's one of my favorite pedals!
9. This is what it's like at the moment: On the way are a Copilot FX Dubscope "Deluxe", Orbit and a TC Electronics tuner. A custom LPF fitted into a expression pedal enclosure is almost ready. Then I might need a normal overdrive or distortion pedal since I haven't got anything like that Oh yeah, might have to upgrade to a Pedaltrain Pro when those pedals arrive...
10. I know my Jazz cuts through in a rockband, but that's mostly because of the pick-ups: The series/parallel-switch is also very good to get a thicker sound!
11. My advice would be to order a Sandberg and ask them to wire it passive. They'll do that right away. Something a lot of people don't seem to know is that you can even choose what pick-ups you want in there. For £1000 you could probably have a passive jazz, with the pick-ups you desire, in any color you want AND you just know the quality will be superb. Maybe you could even have a matching headstock or blocks if you fancy that?
12. Ah yes,. I believe this was the original scratchplate. Although I was thinking of putting a pearloid black on there, I'm just gonna leave it like that. So, no experience of other scratchplates by me.
13.
wow, those pups look sexy, nice work fitting them! I'm just thinking about sexing my VMJ up.....couple of questions 1/ Have you sourced pickguards (scratchplates)? 2/ Where did you get those Fender decals, they look A1? many thanks
Thanks! 1/ I don't really understand what you mean with that? 2/ The decal was done by a previous owner but a friend of mine knows where to get them, so I'll ask him. I was able to try the bass on my Markbass set today and WOW. The pick-ups are are the most dynamic ones I've ever played. With a soft touch they sound pretty nice, but when you really dig-in they growl like a beast! With the series/parallel-switch engaged it gets a bit of the sound of a P-bass but with a more cutting edge to it. This is probably the best Jazz I've had so far, and the urge for another one with Chi-Sonics is taking me over. Maybe I'll make one with the humbucker...
