1. I have the same exact finish MIJ Telecaster guitar. Shame I’m not in the market for a bass right now!
 2.
Lovely bass! Its an '84 model with neck/headstock binding, Series II body style - looks in excellent condition! Tres bon!!!! Nick
That was my bass that John refurbed. I asked him to add the binding. It's a shame the guy sold it as it was a right old pain getting it to him in France and he can't have had it more than a few months! Oh well. Someone else has a cracking JD.
 3. As an owner of a WT800 and D410XLT that cost well over £2000 (RRP much higher) I'm always staggered to see prices as low as £400 for the head and £325 for the cabs. Why does it seem that Eden gear doesn't hold its value? Does anyone else agree or have similar issues with other brands?
 4.
....... flat fret board, sim led markers and a neck plate with his name on
...and 16.5mm string spacings
 5. I know this is an old post (sorry) but I'll stand faithful to my Jazz MK. It's a peach and doesn't seem to suffer from any of the things mentioned on here. I know I'd never sell this one and I've had and sold a JD, Status Kingbass and even an Alembic Series 1 but I know I can get any of those basses back again pretty quickly but not a Fender MK! Just my tuppence worth but you should have done the deal! (I paid a lot more than £800 and would have snapped his hand off for that amount!!!)
 6. BASS NOW SOLD 1997 4 string series I bass quilted maple top and back purpleheart accent laminates mahogany body maple/purpleheart neck ebony fretboard mother of pearl oval inlays chrome hardware chromed bronze logo chrome straplocks sold thorough Guitar Center completed 9/29/97
Good call - can it get any better than this?
Why of course......mine!
 8.
Hi, is this still for sale? Would you be interested to swap for a Fender Jazz MK blue sims? (I'm broaching the idea with you.. not a formal deal as i'm not certain i will sell fender ... but desperately 'need' a KB artists asap!!) cheers, Mark
What number is yours? I have number 22 (don't get rid........) I've had a KB Artist and they're ace but they'll keep coming up. The Jazz won't IMHO!
 9.
IMO avforums (and in particular the classifieds section) is over moderated and I would hate to see Basschat end up like that. I think stating the price is a move in the right direction - I'd like to see the prices kept in place after the sale is closed as well, rather than the price removed and replaced with SOLD.
It's it's a fair system then things like that aren't fair for me. I have personally sold 3 basses for more than I bought for so why should I have to suffer because of the original sellers circumstances?
 10. I think this is a nonsense 'Rule' and should be the sellers decision if he wants to post the price or accept offers, but I do have a solution which works really well on another forum I visit. All negotiation are carried out open and visible on the thread and the communication only goes to PM when an agreement has been met and personal details are being exchanged. This way, anyone interested in buying the item can offer openly and the seller can then make all negotiations transparent. See here for the full rules: http://www.avforums.com/forums/view_trading_rules.htm (They look heavy but in practice it's really simple!) I do hate it when I post an item at a price and then get shot down by people who have either no interest in buying, ill informed on current values or are simply jealous. This then has an effect on potential purchasers who may have been willing to pay the amount advertised. I think these posters should have a 7 day ban until they learn to keep their hi-jacked messages out of the classified sections. If they feel really strong about it then they should start a new thread in the General section and away from the selling thread. Afterall, if they butted in like that when I'm negotiating a deal with someone in public then I'd probably knock them on their arse.
